The folder panel is too narrow. Please add a control to adjust its width.
The names of my custom folders are truncated. It should be possible to display them fully.

Any reason this hasn't been fixed yet? It's a no-brainer and would make people happy, which I would think is to your benefit in your current state of corporate transition.

The columns should be allowed to be adjusted by the user. The attachment "column" could be shown in the wasted space prior to the column of boxes. The subject line is way too truncated. Too much wasted space.

I completely agree. The sidebar/panel is so narrow that it makes no sense because I cannot differentiate the folders I have based on the first few letters that they might share.

I currently can't read the right side of any email that I open because of the width of the ad, very poor design. Wasting time trying to read an email.

This problem was reported first time 2 weeks ago! Any plans to get it solved? It is really annoying not being able to adjust folder panel size!!! :(

I have folders that begin with the same characters and without more width on the folder panel, I can't tell them apart.

I also like old mail style (current one) when email interface fit all the screen's width.

I would prefer to go back to the previous version of the new Yahoo mail, because this version is just like my work email where you get a preview of the start of the message instead of not seeing all or nothing. I use a laptop so I don't have a huge screen to view on. I currently can't read the right side of any email that I open because of the width of the ad, so I like Gmail because the only ads that I see are: single, thin strip ads at the top of the page. This design is stupid.

This is the #1 problem. Why isn't it adjustable like Hotmail? Geez, this is like a 1990's browser.

It's been this way for a LONG TIME. It should have been fixed years ago. It's the #1 problem.

There is a slider to adjust the folder sidebar width. The problem is that the feedback icon covers the slider. I thought that once you gave feedback, the feedback icon would go away; it doesn't. So, since the feedback icon covers the sidebar width scroll-bar, the sidebar width scroll-bar doesn't function as you can't access it.

This is true. You need a slider so we can adjust the width of the panel. I hate this new interface.

Yes, this is a major issue of me as well and I have a paid account so the ads pose no concern. I have more folders than I can count and locating the folder I am looking for is not easy with Yahoo mail. This should be an easy fix!

They told me to mouse over the folder names, I should not have to do that, I do not have to do it now

This is a ploy to get me to buy the Ad less upgrade. What it will do is get me to chose a competitors e-mail platform.

If you hover over a folder name, the full name and the number of emails (total and unread) are displayed. But that's way too slow if you have a long list of folders that start the same. We NEED to be able to eyeball the whole folder list at once, and hover over a folder name to eyeball all the subfolders in it (with total and unread email counts). This really should be a no-brainer; the new Yahoo should not have been released without that capability.

Agreed - need a wider column or the ability to temporarily widen it while viewing the list. And RESTORE THE SUBFOLDERS in this view!
