How can we improve New Mail?

AD's

The **** ad's slow the email process, during the composition of an email as the ad changes it freezes the program. There is no need to have ad's in the email section, seriously how many people do you honestly think watch the **** at all? I'll give this **** a chance, but there should be an option to change back .

    I understand that ad revenue is crucial to online providers, and that there has to be some way to supplement the free service.

    However, some of the ads are downright shameful to be attached to yahoo mail. I've seen scam ads, snake oil ads, and even ads that redirect you to a new page, that tries to automatically install something on your computer.

    Do you really want to be known as the email service that spreads viruses to their users?

    Ads on right side of screen video ads disturb our concentration while we work on e mails,
    We do not want to see Ads , pl suggest -how to remove permanently these Ads, From Anil Dighe

    After over 20 years I HAVE DECIDED to LEAVE YAHOO BECAUSE THEY CARE MORE FOR $ THAN THEIR USERS. Vote with your feet and leave YAHOO has proved they don't care about their users by the way they have ignored their users feedback.

    Ads are too much!!! It is better to have a mode like Youtube has, an Ad before seeing what you want, then you are through with the ADS. We the Yahoo users are romantic even having gmail accounts for phones or work, we like to use Yahoo. Being so easy to stop using yahoo, you should be aware that romance can end easily if you keep hurting your faithfull users. Thanks!

    Letters diappear when I type in the address field. Used to happen in the compose/text field too. Now OK. Very annoying to keep looking and typing it 3-4 times.

    Unable to type a message until the advertisements are fully loaded. I understand the need for ads, but why should I have to wait to type while they are being loaded (SLOWLY)?

    Get rid of some ads and I don't need to see movies while I'm waiting for email folders

    The cursor jumps backwards when I type into the email address field. I cannot type at a regular speed and have to slowly type each letter and make sure it is entered before typing the next letter.

    I could carve in stone faster than I can type an email now. I am not a fan of gmail (hence why I use Yahoo) but I literally am wasting measurable time waiting for my cursor to catch up with my typing. I understand ads pay the bills but find a way to integrate them without ruining the experience.
    Time to type this email due to freezing...3 1/2 minutes!!!!!

    fix the comet.yahoo and pr.comet.yahoo **** that slows down my entire computer and freezes email. giving you a week -- then deleting all accounts ans switching to gmail solely
