How can we improve New Mail?

AD's

The **** ad's slow the email process, during the composition of an email as the ad changes it freezes the program. There is no need to have ad's in the email section, seriously how many people do you honestly think watch the **** at all? I'll give this **** a chance, but there should be an option to change back .

    Eliminate the maddening delay when clicking on the delete box. Then when my click responds, sometimes it erases the wrong E-mail. Smooth the jerky scrolling effects. Eliminate my inability to sign at least half the petitions I receive. When I click on the "sign" box, there is no response whatsoever.

    You must not delete my older emails what happened with the new version. VERY BAD FOR MY WORK.
    I want to delete my emails if I want.!!!
    Stay with the old version. I hope it is possilble to stay with the old version.
    It will be very dificult to delete the yahoo adress, and I have to explain why !!

    The advertising with the videos and sounds need to go. They slow down the browser and make using mail a pain....I get you need ads to keep it free, but how about just static images.

    it makes my server slower..it so heavy! i hate all the advertisin & that i cant remove them from my inbox

    Some thing with the advertisement's loading is causing it not to allow me to open my email until ALL the advertisement's load and even then it is slow even on my best PC's. If it would at least open an email while the ad's are still loading I really don't mind the ad's and understand the need for them.

    Get static ads or upgrade your system. The ads ***** up everything. If I have a lengthy email, it shunts me back to the top numerous times until I just copy and paste it into word. Ads will even shut down my browser, freeze it, and some of the **** ads are viruses attacking my system!

    I know ads are a source of income. Do not allow those that jump up and down and cause distraction, I don't thinks it help at all..

    I've been having the same type skipping issue as 293 other people on this board. I've had a Yahoo mail account for ~20 years and it's a pain in the butt to change. But I'm really sick of having to re-type, so it's time to switch to Google Mail. Yahoo was such a great innovative company in its early days, but when you offer products that suck and don't fix them, it erodes the brand to nothing...

    when composing a letter or doing things on mail it just sometimes stops working or just freezes for no reason.

    All of the above plus it won't allow me to go down and check as many e-mails as I want and delete them in bulk. Now I have crawl through doing 2-3 at a time. When I want to dump 75 e-mails it becomes a career.

    This is not an improvement, it is failure.

    Fix the email server so its speedy to do. It stops, it stalls, it gets stuck.
    It was better before you 'fixed' what wasn't broken.

    I use Firefox browser and when I am on the Yahoo! site there are ads that automatically take me to a bogus website that claim I need to patch my browser. Yahoo! needs to stop things like this from happening.

    i agree with many of the comments below as I too have the same problems. How can I go back to the previous version of yahoo mail? This one is so much slower than other email providers. The previous version was better but over all Yahoo scores low on the scale for email providers. I would never recommend yahoo to a newbie. I have other email accounts with other providers. Yahoo is not the only 'provider in town'.

    Do away with all those moving ADVERTISEMENTS !! It causes Yahoo & Yahoo Mail to load !!!
