Make BLOCKING emails easier!
Make BLOCKING emails easier!

@Giblin S, can you please rename the topic to a bit more suggestive/specific one?
e.g. "Block entire spam email domains"That would be more eye-grabbing and may help to serve the cause.

This feature was available on older desktop versions of Yahoo Mail.
Entire domains could be effectively blocked just by listing them under "Blocked Addresses".Unfortunately, in the later versions, there is no provision for adding anything except complete email addresses.
The full domain blocking is an indispensable feature, this can effectively block spammers who tend to camouflage under different email ids under some specific domains.
Else, there must be a RegEx support enabling users to block patterns like:
^([a-zA-Z0-9_\-\.]+)@spammail.com$Thanks a lot.

If you want to block spam again go to contacts and it brings you back to old mail but once out of old mail returns yo auto new one so stay logged into old one once you get it.

I found how to access my list of "blocked addresses".
click on the gear shaped icon
click on: "... more settings"
click on: "security & privacy"
That will show your list of blocked addresses. When I attempt to enter a domain name "t-online.hu" I get "invalid entry"
When I attempt to enter a domain name "@t-online.hu" I get "invalid entry"
It does accept *@t-online.hu but will that work to block the domain???The blocked addresses CAN be removed. Again, "help" doesn't help!

Let us Block DOMAINS, like the OLD YAHOO MAIL did!
Blocking Addresses does NO GOOD, the Spammer just uses another address!
For example:
Agent Ditmer Eduart <gogos.krisztina@t-online.hu> Mar 27 at 6:41 AM
Agent Ditmer Eduart <bonusz.janos@t-online.hu> Mar 29 at 8:41 AM
Agent Ditmer Eduart <zalaber@t-online.hu> Apr 4 at 1:32 AMALL THREE USE THE SAME gmail REPLY ADDRESS! (and are identified as SPAM in the header information)
If I could have Blocked the DOMAIN, Like the OLD yahoo mail, I would NOT HAVE RECEIVED THE LAST TWO SPAMS!
Also, There is NO METHOD TO REMOVE OR EDIT BLOCKED ADDRESSES! -

Make it very very much more obvious how to block the sender of an email. Please. It was easy on the old system. So far the new system disappoints on every count

Please don't just close this with a comment to go to the "why is this in my spam folder" or tell us about your algorithm that overrides my settings. Just fix the block feature. When I click "Block all future emails" and "Delete all existing emails" I want it to do just that. Not put the stupid email back in my folder. Either may it work or remove this option.

Or make the filters actually work! Every day it's the same diet scams and suggestive **** to view some photos. One "product" in particular appears in my inbox and spam folder up to 10 times each day. The filters simply don't work anymore and the spam has greatly increased.

I am sick of the filthy posts directed to my Inbox and Spambox. You have cut off my ability to block such filth. Kindly correct this matter immediately, I don't go on line to be faced with such disgusting posts I never asked for, we all need to have the opportunity to BLOCK such disgusting rubbish. I can't allow my children to go into Yahoo Mail any more because of this obscene filth. Please wake up and give this blocking app back!

If you want to block an email sender without all the hassle, just hit the contacts icon. It will take you back to the old email, where you can block it the "old fashioned" way.

E-mail systems should become much faster, when more + more spam e-mail addresses are blocked from sending their bandwidth-choking rubbish!

Other Yahoo mail users:
please click on the "VOTE" icon next to this suggestion if you'd also like this facility to be provided by Yahoo. Please encode apps etc. to do the above, Yahoo...
By the way: having to go into the settings and block individaul email addresses that way is too time consuming and NOT acceptable and insufficient.
