how do I change the views? i don't need photos, documents or tutorials
Hate new Yahoo mail. I don't need photos, documents or tutorials and I have to click Hide every single time to see my own folders. And I can't see how many files are in Spam. Who decided on these "improvements" - I have had yahoo mail for a very long time and each time you improve it I hate it. and where is help? there is no way to rearrange the folders shown on the left side at all? unbelievable!

Let us delete or hide the stupid "Views" section - beyond annoying!

I found several suggestions requesting that we be able to delete or disable the Views feature. Unfortunately, Yahoo will not let me vote to agree on any of those. The standard Yahoo response to all is that it isn't going to happen. Thanks for listening to your users Yahoo. You're making my decision to leave for another email service just got easier.

when the views menu opens it pushes my folders off the screen, so I cant see if I have unread email there. I close the views menu (hide) but it comes back every time I open email.
Views sucks anyway, give the option to close/hide it and have it stay that way!

Give the ability to remove "view" section under inbox.

Get rid of the "Views" folder. Completely worthless.

I would like to be able to control if these photos are saved. Some are just the signature/company photos and they save them each time the person emails me; this seems like a waste as well as I don't have use for this (I just want a settings option as some may like it).

The changes to the User Interface were generally alright. But you discarded many of the useful features. You made the screen more crowded, got rid of the Unread counter on "Folders", added "Views" that I have to always hide, the right panel keeps expanding even though I collapsed it, changed keystroke shortcuts (k for marking as read/unread is now shift-k)... The list could go on but generally the "upgrade" seems more like a "downgrade". Heck, I tried it when it initially came out and after two days of trying it, I reverted to the old interface, avoiding this upgrade until it was forced upon me. In a word, the new user interface is annoying.

I do not need the views options and a way to permanently hide or move that section needs to be provided for the user. It would be better to place it below the folders I created and use. Very inefficient the way it is. I prefer not to hide or collapse it every time I use my email.

Not being able to permanently hide "views" is about to lose you a user.

The scroll bars are large and annoying. We can hide it when we hide the "views" tab but it returns when we close and open the email. Please, allow us to get rid of it permanently.

Somebody though that imposing a Views folder into users without giving your customers the option to customize their views was a good idea.
We need to the option to get rid of this, as is clearly not a good idea

Please reconsider moving Views under our Folders, or having it remember our preference and stay Hidden. Here's why it matters to me - I have emails forwarded from another account, and filtered into the top folder - I can immediately see if there's a new email because it flags if there are unread messages (super!). If Views is open above folders, I have to scroll down or 'Hide' - why bother having it forwarded and filtered at all? Might as well just open the other mailbox... The whole point is so I don't have to put any conscious thought into checking it - I only receive an email in there once or twice a month, so a waste of time checking daily, but can't afford to forget it either, just because it's buried under 'Views'.
I know you've refused to change this a few times already, and closed the previous requests, but please reconsider. It makes a big difference to some of us.
Thank you.

====================================================I looked for the new “People” tab, but couldn't find it. Where, exactly, is it?
Honestly, I'd rather have Smart Views back!

I wish to have the option to control whether 'Views' appears. This as opposed to having to hide it every time I open Yahoo mail.

The new Yahoo terms sound more like the terms an inmate has with the prison warden. The GOOD news of course is that people can very easily take ALL their "business" elsewhere. Yahoo just grabbed a rocket launcher and shot itself in the face.

Why does Yahoo do this. I want to permanently hide the Views pane in Yahoo mail, but Yahoo arrogantly thinks we need this and make it impossible to permanently hide it. Outlook and Google mail are so much more superior and that's what I mostly use. Yahoo is just a third tier back-up, but they can do better if they simply listened better.

Right, there is no Help link in Yahoo mail. Yahoo is helpless. It makes you wonder how they stayed in business this long. Oh that's right, they couldn't stay in business. They had to be bought out by Verizon. Good luck with that.
