Very poor font choice
Very poor font choice.
1. Does not support latin extended. Those characters are shown with a substitute font
2. Difficult to read - the thin font
3. The new messages are shown with thin characters and read ones with bold characters. I find this strange
4. No control over fonts in themes and background.
Hi there,
You may have noticed that we have made some subtle improvements to font sizes, thickness and contrast overall.
Also, please see the following help article on changing the default font style and size when writing mail.

Thanks,

Sorry to see that the new Yahoo still does not allow users to set their own text colour as a default. Having to constantly set for each email is a pain and most other providers have long since done this so, come on Yahoo, show us what you can do?!

The font you use in the Inbox messages really hurts my eyes. It's so bad that I'm motivated to switch to gmail after 25 years with Yahoo. Please make new mail less bold. It hurts the eyes! I've tried adjusting spacing and zooming in and out with my web browzer. No relief!!!!! Please give us an alternative choice of fonts.

You could atleast give us black text in the mailbox rather than grey, I have no idea why you want to foce the new look on us the old mail inbox was perfect I've had 18 years using yahoo mail and this new look is no good. larger black fonts and get rid of that thick dark header make it small

Would you kindly stop screwing up your email once and for all? Now every time I send an email, no matter what font I choose, you change it to this bland Modern font. Stop doing that -- NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You are the pros and I am not. the Fonts in my Yahoo Mail being set at large is still not big enough.

There is no reason to make the font smaller and barely readable. It will not force me to upgrade to premium. After all, if you can't get the free version right, why would I even consider paying for an inferior product.

Give the user the ability to select a font color for read/unread to help distinguish between read and unread. Currently the difference is minimal.

Common directions to change things like fonts and text are hard to find. Directions to change colors easy. What gives? Writing an email puts it in a small font all the time. Have to change manually each time to send an email.
