Changing the format does not make a better product, MS made this mistake why is yahoo follow a bad business model!
Keep the over all look and feel of the GUI the same and only improve the coding so the product works better and is more secure. The GUI should slowly evolve but keep the general navigation the same. MS made a huge mistake with windows 8 and the still have not gotten away from this bad business practice of radical GUI change, because the new Office is ugly and I prefer the 2010 GUI, use your head yahoo, the user likes the consistence and wants small gradual changes. That is why so many people eat a chain restaurants, because it is consistent for the most part with only small changes from one place to another. That is what an adult likes, an expected experience when it is a defined product, we prefer the new things be in a different package
