Search function doesn't retrieve all messages matching the specified criteria, only the messages currently in the display buffer. I'd like Search to find ALL instances of a matching message going ALL the way back to the first messages I have in Yahoo! Mail, like it used to. Even if I do a custom search and expand the "after" date criteria to long ago, I get less than about 100 messages, and perhaps only about 60 or so--this seems tied to the number of messages to display at one time. Pretty sure that the old Search gave me every message in existence fitting the criteria, not just those currently displayed.

Seems to me to be "expensive" websites that I'm having trouble with the search feature working at all on. Large name brand websites even to exact domain address will not show up in search because they don't want me deleting or spamming them all at once I'm sure (making me do it individually). I was trying to send them ALL to a folder and it recognizes certain emails from the web address given but not others. Yahoo done sold out and time to find a new email service that works

I have had a similiar problem but instead of getting messages that would be in a buffer, I get messages from years ago. Tonight it was 2012 and 2013 when I know I had messages from this sender in 2017, 2016, ... I am the person everyone goes to to find things or find out when something local happened. I often Search my mail box. Now I can't do that. Quite frankly, this seems as if they didn't test this version very thoroughly but I guess Yahoo mail is known for that.
