How can we improve New Mail?

Very slow - it takes few seconds to react if i select any option in the mail.

I have been using yahoo mail for around 15 years, for last few years I have been facing very poor performance. it takes time to load the mail and it doesn't react immediately to perform any action. I have to wait for few seconds to work with the mails.
its dam slow, but when I see gmail it is really good to work with emails.
I don't want to switch to gmail, because the only hope I have is that yahoo mail will be improved(performance) in future.
the basic and the mandate service we look at the mail is for the faster emailing. if it doesn't fulfill then it is no use of adding additional feature.

    Yeah! I thought I was the only one! I'm not alone! Yahoo mail is slow and I believe its using too many cookies for loading adds.

    I tried sending a reply to an email; when I click on "send," nothing happens. I'll keep trying.

    Too SLOW...........HELP. I want to delete selected emails and its screwing up. It just won't delect!!!!!!

    Yes. The primary characteristic I need is speed. Every change you make just seems to slow down a slow service even more. I, too, am beginning to look at other options for email just because Yahoo has gotten to be SO slow.

    I totally agree with the above statements. My version of Yahoo which is the latest, is so slow I can make a cup of tea while waiting for a response. I jest not.
