How can we improve New Mail?

Very slow - it takes few seconds to react if i select any option in the mail.

I have been using yahoo mail for around 15 years, for last few years I have been facing very poor performance. it takes time to load the mail and it doesn't react immediately to perform any action. I have to wait for few seconds to work with the mails.
its dam slow, but when I see gmail it is really good to work with emails.
I don't want to switch to gmail, because the only hope I have is that yahoo mail will be improved(performance) in future.
the basic and the mandate service we look at the mail is for the faster emailing. if it doesn't fulfill then it is no use of adding additional feature.

    Fed up with down loading mails from Yahoo mail, when comparing with Gmail, it takes more time and complications ...

    It is very slow. I finally get disgusted and just delete everything. I have opened a gmail account and am gradually switching.

    Agree - far too slow, is unresponsive and often has to be restored/reopened.

    A program is only as good as the program/developers skills, and this one says it all - 'poor'.

    I can only add to the comments that it is becoming slower and more cumbersome. I really do not want to switch from Yahoo but there just seems to be no improvement at all. Why is nothing being done to improve upon this product?

    Adding more bells and whistlaes detracts from the purpose of the site AND makes the site very cumberson to use

    I am ready to switch out of Yahoo mail as soon as I figure out how to export all my folders. The performance is horrible lately and gmail has much better features. The performance has been getting worse and worse for the past year or so, to the point where I can't use it any more on my PC without frustration (running Windows 10 with plenty of power for performance). I have seen or heard nothing to indicate that you are doing anything to improve the system.

    I'm not sure if you at Yahoo actually read these because I see that you're "GATHERING FEEDBACK" updated 2 months ago. It's beyond me why your email runs so so slow. I've been using Yahoo for 8 years now and this is the worst I've seen it. I literally use my Apple Mail on my Mac to download my Yahoo emails and it goes ridiculously fast. For that matter (and this is truly a shame) I read 95% of my emails through my iPhone...why because it's fast. Why does your site not work fast on a normal Safari platform.

    Last, all the people on here have taken the time to add a comment to better your product that we all appreciated at one time. Could you PLEASE give us the courtesy of giving us, your customers, feedback on what you're doing about the speed? Soon...not in another 2 months?

    Whatever you guys did to this, at one time great, e-mail service, well it's a giant step backward. Please e-mail me an update of when you will have the speed fixed. If not then it's time to pack up and leave. I'm waiting ten minutes to receive e-mails from people just this morning. Other times the e-mail doesn't show till the NEXT DAY. This is beyond unacceptable.

    i wont the okd mail back yahoo has got so slow, every time you go to do something yahoo is nor responding.

    it should fast than previous, it should be go just one click but after I click I have to wait like my computer hang, seriously!!!!!
