Very slow - it takes few seconds to react if i select any option in the mail.
I have been using yahoo mail for around 15 years, for last few years I have been facing very poor performance. it takes time to load the mail and it doesn't react immediately to perform any action. I have to wait for few seconds to work with the mails.
its dam slow, but when I see gmail it is really good to work with emails.
I don't want to switch to gmail, because the only hope I have is that yahoo mail will be improved(performance) in future.
the basic and the mandate service we look at the mail is for the faster emailing. if it doesn't fulfill then it is no use of adding additional feature.

Lately I feel like Yahoo Mail is on the dial up system. I wait for emails to upload...I go get a drink from the kitchen, wait on an email to open...I go get some chips, wait on the email to send...go put a load of laundry in. If the speed doesn't improve by June I'll be moving to another provider.

I agree - especially the part about where you're holding out with yahoo in hopes of increased performance and speed. Same here. Otherwise, gmail - here i come.

Extremely slow. I can't believe I am still using this email address. Not the best, but the older version was so much better than this one. Soon I am going to switch to gmail for ever if this is not getting fixed fast.

I second this. Yahoo is far and away the slowest website ever. It takes forever to load and then another forever to pull up an email. My internet access might be slow today and that just makes it almost unusable. I was trying to type an email and there was a 15 second or more lag time for my typing to show up. That is just poor design all around. My typing should be local and not need to be sent back to the mothership before displaying.

very slow, lags a lot, takes our precious time, will be a nightmare in case of emergency.
I hate this yahoo mail and will definately move to my other mail if it doesn't improved with time. -

My old AOL account works better than my Yahoo account. That's shameful. The new upgrade is not good. Its clunky.

There are times I cannot even look at my sent email, it will just not load and states "nothing to see here". Yea I'd like to shove that down someones throat when I'm trying to hit deadlines.

Came here for the same reason; just unbelievably slow for some reason. SO frustrating. I click send and watch my screen just sit there. Not sure if it's been sent or not. And on and on.

I agree with theb complaints...I have been on Yahoo mail fopr many years, and lately it has beciome slow as molasses. I am thinking of switching to something else, although I'd rather not have to.
WORSE YET, your custimer suppoer is awful. There is no way to get hepp- beyond a few basic subjects. Just trying to find out how to speed up the mail is impossible,

It takes several minutes for new emails to open if they open at all!

I logged in for the same reason. The last few days my Yahoo mail has been ridiculously slow. At times I can't even load my email. It becomes totally unusable. I work remotely and need my email to assist me with work. Not working is not acceptable. I hope someone from Yahoo addresses this SOON.
