Too many ads!!!
Ad overload. I don't mind ads, but your interface takes it to new extremes, especially when I try check a folder with no messages in it.

It's not whether there are ads or not - the service is essentially free so we do expect some advertising to cover costs.
The issue is whether the grotesque intrusion into our limited screen space seems appropriate - and whether the ads and subjects are appropriate. Whether my browser has a cookie for pornhub or hot-grandmas-getting-banged - I don't want to see any of that in the ad space. A trip to Lowes or Ace Hardware -sure. Starbucks vs Peets vs local eatery vs best sushi -sure. But the dark seemy **** - no, don't need to see those ads and don't need those to popup in front of the boss or the kids.
Because virtually all online purveyors have abused the user with 80% ad space and 10-20% consumer service - well next thing you know every user adapts attitude of the **** YOUR ****** ADVERTISING.

I don't mind ads either but they are forcing my screen to zoom in and out a few times a minute, interfering with my ability to click where I want and stopping keyboard and typing functionality. Up to this very day I have used yahoo for over a decade and have never minded it but is driving me mad and I am about to delete my account.

I don't mind ads, they pay for a service, but there are a couple of problems with these ads. First off, they are often intrusive. Why not just keep them on the right and out of the mail stream? Also, why do we repeatedly see the same ad? Especially for a product or service we have already looked up? I recently clicked on an ad in facebook, now that item is being pushed in my face on yahoo. Why? Who gains from this?

Take away all the junk advertisements .
Put back more servers in different city location.
Do not link all closed Yahoo sites in other countries into yahoo.com main site location in USA.
That can speed up mail service and other services, return back yahoo good performance like before year 2011 those good days.
As you are a new yahoo buyer, you should do it better than the old yahoo owner whom made yahoo became bankrupt. -

Religion is very personal. Please DO NOT ADVERTISE RELIGIOUS ORGANIZATIONS! I FIND Mormon.org to be misleading and secretive. Many of their offerings to not identify the source as the Church of Latter Day Saints!

If you are going to start playing videos without my permission, at least let me customize them! Some of the ones you gave me just now are personally offensive! I DON'T WANT TO SEE THEM. Also, why can't I block a person or place? I am still getting emails from a place I've tried to unsubscribe to that has triggering and offensive content. I am lucky not to have hatemail, or a stalker, or abusive ex, but if I did I would also need to block someone.

Hate the new layout. Right pan uses too much real estate for obnoxious and in most cases pointless advertising. Nothing I see as far as ads in anything related to what i would be interested in purchases. This is why Yahoo Mail is my Junk email address.

It's that simple! I don't mind ads, I mind ads that are too intrusive.
Create compelling ads and consumers will respond. I know, I worked at yahoo 1997-2001 -

My idea is for you guys to stop the ads!
I signed up for an e-mail address, but did not sign up for adverts, and don;t appreciate the suggestion that I should pay to have them stopped -

the advertisements appearing at the right hand column of the mailbox is highly irritating and distracting.
