Ad overload. I don't mind ads, but your interface takes it to new extremes, especially when I try check a folder with no messages in it.

I am forced to use an ad blocker as your java based ads will eventually eat up all my memory when I leave yahoo mail or the yahoo home page open on a tab of my browser, eventually forcing me to reset. The volume of ads also eats into my data usage. I also don't want video running by default in my home page, or if I click on a news story.

The ad blocker has a policy of what is appropriate - not to intrusive on main viewing areas.
Tracking means spying - it is not your business exactly which other sites I have visitied and exactly what I have bought.
I am not totally anti-advertising, but anti the abuse of the tracking systems that seem to watch my every move. Makes the old Stassi (East german Police) look like amateurs.
Follow the guidlines that the ad blocker advise and advertise the "old" ways more. Harder work for the advertisers - maybe. But not as part of the NSA, GCHQ etc complex, thank you! -

just like the idea poster, i don't mind Adds, but the forceful visibility of adds is annoying. load adds on default page, and let the user choose weather he can push the add to the bottom of the page. i am even not saying to remove the adds, cause i know these Adds are your bread and butter, they are your earnings since you are giving free services.

Tired of seeing left leaning political ads, and left leaning hate speech against the President... I am going to try to find a new email company that isn't so biased against conservatives. BYE YAHOO!

The internet needs ads to make money. You idiot sheeple need to realize Server costs and maintenance are expensive. If yahoo wasn't making money through ads, they will need to make yahoo mail a paid service. I'd prefer to keep the internet a open as possible and not under a pay wall.
Stop being so **** entitled and enjoy the FREE service.

MY COMPUTER IS ALWAYS OVER FLOWING WITH UNWANTED ADS. IT WOULD BE NICE TO TURN ON MY COMPUTER WITHOUT HAVING 100 OR MORE UNWANTED ADS TO DELETE EVERY DAY.

There are ads that play nothing but white noise or queue audio. This is a hassle for me because it turns on my wireless headset and drains it's battery. I can no longer user yahoo mail in a browser at work.
