I do not want ANY ads on my email, EMAIL should be EMAIL nothing else. Make money with other means

This wasn't so bad when you had an X to click it off but now you've taken that away and it forces us to either whitelist your ads or refresh many times a day to take it away. If I had wanted to allow ads in the first place, I wouldn't have an ad blocker. It should be my choice if I want to see your annoying and malware filled ads. If you continue to try to force this, I will just take my email to another provider. This is as annoying as robo calls over and over. Stop it and figure out how to make your service more user friendly instead of the useless **** you keep trying to force down our throats!

I agree with the OP. Your company makes enough money scraping my email for data and selling it to others. I will not switch to Yahoo mail pro either, if I am forced to put up with this I will change to an entirely different service. A web search shows that Yahoo claims that this is a test on some accounts, I would like to be removed from your test immediately.

I 100% agree. I've had this email account for over 20 years, and if these changes aren't reversed, I will be migrating to Gmail for good. This company has been on nothing but a straight downward trajectory for many years, and I am fed up.

I have had a Yahoo account for many years and up until yesterday, April 30, 2020, my inbox screen has been ad free. I use an ad blocker because there are virtually NO ads that have any significance to me at all. Now I am forced to unblock my ad blocker to allow these intrusive ads to show on my screen. I do NOT want them and I want them removed! Some people may want ads but I have NO interst in seeing them. Please put Yahoo Mail back the way it was and should still be!

I have had a Yahoo Mail account since 2000. I am ready to leave because you have forced me to allow the heinous and completely annoying ads that you slather onto the screen. I realize that Yahoo was purchased by Verizon which is used to pushing around its customers because they believe their network is superior and people will pay for it, but Yahoo Mail is NOT a superior service. It is a legacy product and that's how most of us like it. We deserve a place that doesn't constantly try to drown us in ads. That is what this service was for decades. That has now changed. As far as I am concerned, you can go straight to HE77!

When I go to open my email a box comes up to either join an upgrade or let the ads be unblocked. When I click it off my message is gone I can’t find it. This is not right. You are forcing me to something I don’t want to do. What the **** is wrong with you people, Are you not making enough money now!!!! This smells like socialism to me !!!!

Just marked 29 emails for spam. About 1 in 4 were from far right alternative press in which article comments were rude, vulgar, derogatory, bigoted and not at all typical of the old American way of treating each other with respect. The rest were ads. You call this email?

I need my email for work and NOW?!?!? You choose to harass me about my ad blocker? Stop ******* with my email. It keeps switching accounts and whitelisting. Very poor, especially when so many of us are using computers now. HATE YOU!

I WILL NEVER WHITELIST YAHOO OR PAY FOR YOUR GARBAGE SERVICE!

KNOCK THIS S*** OFF!!!

I hate that I am reading an email and your whitelist ad comes up and takes me from what I am reading. Leave my email page alone!!!
-
Raymond Dammon commented
GET RID OF THIS *** - YOUR "PRO" VERSION IS GARBAGE ANYWAY - YOU FORCE ADS ON INTO OUR ACCOUNTS ANY WAY.
MY AD-BLOCKERS ARE TO PROTECT MY PC FROM YOUR MALWARE - NOT TO JUST BLOCK GARBAGE ADS - DON'T YOU MAKE ENOUGH MONEY WITH THE GARBAGE "NEWS" PAGES?

Forcing whitelisting, pay-per-service, or basic mail is a nasty tactic.
I don't want the obnoxious video flashy ads. That's why I have an adblocker. Online ads need a revolution. This ain't it.
