MALWARE ADS ON YAHOO - you (Yahoo) can improve email by not being a source of malware. I am very careful in how I use the internet to avoid potential threats. I have been successful EXCEPT for Yahoo web site, specifically just the email interface. I have been subject to repeated attempted intrusions ONLY when on Yahoo email (i.e Adobe fake "must update" notice). It is clear that Yahoo ad network is NOT SECURE. And thus Yahoo has become as big a threat as visiting an unknown **** web site. I need to switch to Gmail usage and avoid all Yahoo products. It seems the Yahoo hacking history is but a symptom of a broader security problem. Yahoo cannot / should not be considered a safe web site. As for switching to Gmail, I have at least removed Yahoo email as my web browser home page and try to interact with Yahoo as little as possible. I write emails via word and then copy and paste to Yahoo email as fast as possible to minimize exposure. Also when at all possible I transmit emails in phone app - I use phone app to view all emails rather than risk using Yahoo web interface - AGAIN THIS IS DUE TO MALWARE INFECTED ADS ON YAHOO NETWORK.

I am getting 1200+ SPAMs per day. This is the internet so I expect some. 1200 + is way over the top. 95% are from the same company - ELoans. I unsubscribed and it made it worse. I get temails at the rat of 1-2 per minute. They use different fake emails so blocking emails isn't sufficient. It needs to stop.

Stop bugging me with paying for Pro and with disabling add blocker. You are way too aggressive and you will only manage to make me switch to another e-mail provider.

STOP AD POP UPS. Its too offensive while working. Email should be just email. So many people have complained in same matter then why YAHOO isn't working on it.

Trying to whitelist around blockers is a waste of my time because the instructions suck. Whats wrong with step 1 and then step?

Stop fixing what doesn't need to be fixed and get rid of the ads and pop ups ! If it doesn't change back asap I am leaving yahoo and getting an email account elsewhere !

Go back to the old format. Get rid of your "Suggestions" for videos when I clean out the junk file. Get rid of your ad email as 1st post.

I also think the white list notifications are useless, as I refuse to do so! If Yahoo would like to take responsibility and pay for the adware that destroyed my last computer, then maybe you'd have a shot; but until then, forget it!
I've been using Yahoo mail for many years now, and it would be a shame to have to delete my mail account and stop using Yahoo as my homepage, but it's not out of the question! -

You want to whitelist me and I don't want to and I do use a ad blocker so get lost with it. I
I also use a PVN and now you want me to correct my clock. Not going to do it so put me back to the old format. I don't need this **** you are putting on me. -

Please incorporate a way to display an audit of logins for users. I would like to be able to see a list of all the times my account has been accessed and from what IP if possible. This way I can tell if someone from Kazakistan is trying to access my account.
Also, provide a way to restrict access through either a whitelist or a blacklist of areas my account can be accessed from. I would like a whitelist allowing me to only access my access from, say the United States. Or possibly restrict it to a smaller section of the country. And the opposite, using a blacklist, I can restrict access from the Middle East or China but allow anywhere else. -

I WILL NOT NOW NOR EVER "WHITELIST" YAHOO MAIL!!!! Take it off. I've used this format for years, but if you don't stop with that ********** pop up to whitelist Yahoo Mail, I'm done.

Stop the "whitelist Yahoo" pop ups....just STOP! Just how long are you going to keep this up?

I turned off ad blocker as you asked. Constantly shifting, flashing, distracting ads. Yes, you get to make money. Not like that.
I get it. Make annoying intrusive ads and put them on pages where it takes so long for you e-mail to load on a 50Gb connection that your brain gets fried on the strobe.
Chat and IM died. Mail crawled. Ads strobe. Yahoo search finds nothing. And you wonder why I'm not around much anymore?

You guys want $3.49 a month for a mail service that really isn't very good? You're insane. I pay Microsoft just over $8 a month, and for that I get five copies of Office 365, an excellent email system, a terabyte of storage for each of five accounts, Office on my phone and who knows what else. Google gives me 100GB of storage for $2 a month. I'm sorry, but the quality of Yahoo mail has become quite poor. The interface isn't strong, the ads are overly intrusive, and I'm sad to say that what was once my favorite service on the internet isn't even something that I want to use anymore.
