How can we improve New Mail?

Hide "Views"?

I don't know where the "Views" tab came from in the left hand pane but I don't use and it is taking up valuable space. I am much more interested in seeing my folders. At least keep "Views" minimized when I minimize it. Now every time I open Yahoo Mail I have to minimize it again. Another "great" Yahoo idea that is useless.
