Slow speed
I don't mind the new format but I do mind the often slow web speeds of Yahoo.

Hey Yahoo/Verizon/NSA. Less is more. Can't even load the page on 20 meg fiber connection due to all the adds. This is not an upgrade.

The "new" Yahoo mail is crazy slow. I click a message to delete it, and it takes several seconds for the checkmark to appear, and even longer to actually delete the message. This is very recent - with the "update."

I will be moving away from yahoo mail. It is terrible lately. The page does not load, you cannot get a preview of your emails or the system crashes. I've had yahoo mail forever but I am very dissatisfied with it! I will move all email to gmail.

Yahoo has seriously slowed down. I have 2 Yahoo, 2 Google and one Outlook email accounts and will be switching the main traffic away from Yahoo. Just too slow.

I literally logged on to get forward a spammy company's confirmation code to my other email account. While I was trying in my email address, a pop up appears and cuts my typing off. Yahoo then logs this as a complete address in error. I had to retype quickly because you were trying to get me to turn ad blocker off. I stopped using your website because it is just annoying advertisements now. You have solidified my claim, even in this 2018. Get it together. Be a better company.

I just recently whitelisted Yahoo mail within Ad Block Plus, however, since I did that I've noticed the fan on my laptop turning on indicating something is causing high CPU usage. This seems to have become worse since turning the ads on for Yahoo mail. Today, I have again enabled ABP on Yahoo Mail to see if that causes the High CPU usage condition to abate. Like others, I generally don't mind having ads, I understand that is a revenue stream that helps keep things free for me. However, if having ads cause adverse operation of my laptop, then I will likely continue to block ads on Yahoo mail.

I agree. I'm don't mind ads to get mail for free but the ads slow it up so much. I am on windows 10 and have fast broadband, but yahoo mail is so painfully slow I am thinking of changing

The mail service speeds up once you put in an ad blocker. That is why I started doing an ad blocker in the first place......as I figured out whatever i wanted to see on Yahoo would not complete loading until ALL the ads had loaded. I don't mind waiting 3-5 seconds, I don't want to wait 30......
