How can we improve New Mail?

Don't block access to Yahoo Mail when I'm using a VPN at home

I can log on and then Yahoo directs me to a page saying "Unable to connect". My internet is working fine. YOUR server is blocking me.I shouldn't have to let my ISP data **** me in order to read email.
More and more I wonder why I bother retaining this account....
