saving email address to contacts
Why can't I save new contacts from the email? I used to have an option to add the email to the contacts. A pop up would come up and I'd fill in the missing information. Why can't you fix that and bring it back?

What is the deal with this new yahoo? Where is the contact page? Why did you make it impossible to add a new contact?
Indeed...there is no button! -

Instructions say there is a button to add a contact to a list. There is none that I can find. Where is it hidden?

I receive/send tons of emails on a daily basis. I want to be able to continue, as in the old classic email format, to be able to hover over a contact in an email address line, whether it's one I sent or received, and click "add to contacts". I don't need every single contact added to my contact list, therefore I do not want to add every single contact, just the ones I choose.

HUGE problem -- we can't save a new contact's email from the email. And, no, we don't have time to cut & paste it into the Contacts page. This is stupid and annoying. You missed this completely.

Hello this is so frustrating with Yahoo Mail. How do I add people who I have e-mailed with as contacts?

Contacts in the new mail format is horrible. If you're trying to edit a contact, and have to toggle back to an email message to cut & paste information, the contact closes. (I think it erases the info you're trying to add.) Then you have start from scratch trying to get back to that contact. This was not an issue in the classic format. Why would a newer version be so much worse than what already existed. Mind boggling.

I agree & miss this feature. I have lost or not received many emails in time because they end up lost in spam folder. The Automated contacts cards feature is deceptive and confusing because they do not add addresses to your contacts, before that only my contacts had cards assigned to them!

On my iphone it would be nice to click on the sender in an email and an option to appear to SAVE CONTACT. The native email app on the iphone has this feature and I wish the Yahoo Mail app would allow us to save a contact. Thank You

In an email, contact information card pops up when the arrow is on the contact or email address. That is helpful, but why can't I edit the contact in this card mode easily?
And
Instead of having to scroll down the list In the contacts page, why can't I simply search within my contacts? -

I'm not able to add or edit contacts. In fact I'm not even able to access my contact list. It seems the new yahoo mail is a downgrade rather than an upgrade. This is a basic requirement.

The option to add a contact while viewing mail in the new yahoo mail is not there.

Totally agree. The contracts process is very frustrating in this new design. Also, when I try to use my groups to address emails, the groups no longer show up in alphabetical order. It makes it very time consuming to find the group I need.

Why does it not automatically add contacts to my contact list? This used to work. Not working now. Why? Is this a 'premium feature'? If so maybe I need to stop using yahoo mail and just use gmail.
