I mistakenly marked an e-mail as Spam
I accidently marked an e-mail as Spam and it wasn't Spam. What can I do? I want to keep receiving those e-mails and I'm afraid I won't now. Please help!!!

The best way to resolve this is to mark the emails as “Not Spam”, that way you can train the spam filter to better identify important emails in the future. Also if you use a mobile device or email client to access your mail over IMAP, please check the Spam filters in that application, to make sure it’s not marking important emails as spam.

your spam folder needs to be more accurate some of the email are not spam as they trusted sites are going the spam folder by mistake. when they expected that is why users getting as they expecting them as they coming from trusted site so you should be able recongize that as an antivirus already knows a trusted site. And sometimes people getting emails from other they expecting to from but they accidently going the spam folder and user do not know that thinking the user is sending them instead you should have a way to detect is routing from online so it go in the spam folder correctly not the other way around. just because an email looks suspicious do not mean they spam sometimes they just have more opened minded friends you cannot base a spam email by the context. you have to determine by if it is just routing into their email box the same way a cell phone does if not a user should report it is spam if you miss not the other way around you think it spam go there when the other person knows better

When I add something to my contacts, stop sending it to spam. I have important correspondence, so even after I add someone to my contacts via the Yahoo website, they still end up in spam. This should be an easy fix.

the yahoo spam filter marks messages from my clients as spam. It does not have any connection to my client list in my PC or mobile mail application. I should have the option to use my local mail client as the spam filter since it knows about my client list.

Stop putting my emails in SPAM. Not everything conservative is SPAM. It could actually be an important document I need but you'll put it in SPAM even when the sending address has no history of SPAMing. STOP IT!

I've been using yahoo mail for over 15 years now. Since last few months, yahoo is marking almost all the important messages as spam. Even if they are from legit banks, organizations almost every single thing is being marked as spam. IT's like if I'm waiting for a mail from some company, I'll search it in spam. Please correct this as it is affecting the very purpose of using yahoo mail as official mail account.

STOP with the PINK BANNER telling me you think my contacts are spam! Over & over you pick the same contacts & I keep telling you they are not spam but that obviously does not work. Your spam filters are awful! I'm constantly pulling messages out of my spam folder that are not spam and pulling spam out of my inbox that should not be there! FIX YOUR SPAM FILTERS!!

Every time others have asked to to show the number of unread emails in the SPAM folder you claimed to have reviewed the "idea" and closed the idea without doing anything at all. I'm sick and tired of you repeatedly putting emails from my Local Authority in my Spam folder despite me marking them as Not Spam or moving to Inbox, yet you continue to put them in Spam. I've now had to create a filter to hopefully fix my problem. Fix your system and show the count in the Spam folder so emails aren't inadvertently missed, is it really that difficult or is it you just don't care.

Please fix the spam filter! It seems to know when I'm waiting on an important email and then sends it straight to the spam folder. Even contacts and people who I send/receive emails from regularly (50% of stuff from my wife) goes to the spam folder. At the very least please allow the user to turn off the spam filter. This is not just me saying this, there are heaps of videos on YouTube trying to get around the spam filter that doesn't work.
Please Please Please fix this -

Your spam is working properly and send legitimate emails to spam even though I have set up the filter box and/or specify sender NOT spam.

Stop passing valid emails to Spam despite the originator being entered as a contact, there being a send all messages to inbox filter, and previous emails from the originator being marked as spam..

More and more of my emails are going into the spam folder every day! What's going on??? Marking them as "Not Spam" isn't doing any good. They still go into the spam folder. I'm having to put filters on half my email senders and it's getting worse. I see that others are having the same issue but their comments are closed. How long has this been going on? I'm constantly checking my spam folder because more emails are going there than in my inbox.

Replies to emails that I send out are being sent to Spam. This always occurs if the receiver is not in my contacts list, and maybe 10% of the time if the receiver IS on my contacts list.
This should not be the case at all.
