Stop making me verify email and phone num,ber all the time! Quit asking if I want to add another email or phone number to verify my account
Stop making me verify my account with email or phone codes all the time and quit asking if I want to add another phone number or email!

If there’s something unusual about your sign in or recent activity, we’ll ask you to go through another verification step after you’ve entered the correct password. This helps protect your account from unauthorized access. You may be prompted to get a verification code on your Yahoo app, recovery phone number, or recovery email address for any of the following reasons:

Problem started with Mozilla 89 version. Logon code is not persistant. If I exit the browser and return, I need to relog to yahoo and have an email sent, or use google to authorize yahoo to become active.

Each time I log on to my email now it says it doesn't recognize my PC and I have to get a security code. This never happened until in the last few weeks! I would prefer to replace the texting pain in the rear with a PIN #.

I dont' want to wait until I get a code on my phone to get into Yahoo mail. I didn't have to do that before so why now?

Security log needs to stop once I indicate not necessary on this PC. I have to do every time now. Pathetic.

I had updates on my computer, now I need a code to get into my email even though I check the "keep me signed in" box. How do I fix?

Have to verify on smartphone at least once per day to log on Mail on laptop! I might stop using yahoo mail based on this if not fixed soon! VERY very frustrating. (already was reported by another user, and still not fixed: https://yahoo.uservoice.com/forums/600772-new-mail/suggestions/34034908-verifying )

I have the stay logged on box checked and now everytime I want to check my emails, I have to have a code sent to my phone. Either allow me to stay logged in at my choice or get rid of the option.

My idea is that don't force people to enter their phone numbers to pass login screen. I am able to pass it but that screen doesn't have any option to skip phone number. Don't introduce fake reasons for this that users never requested. You can use this post when you care to improve user experience.

um bocado estúpido ter de me autenticar através de senha enviada para o telefone, *** a observação: "...nunca o vimos entrar neste dispositivo..." no computador que uso diariamente

Please make it easier to sign in. You ask for my code then say it's invalid. You say you've sent me a new one to my recovery address then tell me my recovery address does not exist. Eventually I manage to sign in to my usual account. Please just let me sign in without all this hassle.

This is complaining about using Yahoo mail. Too difficulties getting to mails due to additional verification. I’m using the same computer for few years and recently cell phone. It is difficult when I’m outside the country and limited access to internet time consuming not needed. (YOUR MESSAGE SIGN IN IN THIS NEW DEVICE - ??? just were there 1 or 2 days ago)
Another things: why I HAVE TO ACCEPT ANY ADDS VERIZON OR SO TO USE YOUR APPL. Do not like that I’m seriously thinking to find better than existing YAHOO which I was using many, many years and was happy. Now you made me unhappy customer. -

Make it optional for those who don't want to share that info with Yahoo.
I don't care about two-factor authentication and I don't want to have all my contact details in one place in case of hacking.
If I can't recover my account so be it! I'll just make a new one and use that instead. I won't ask you to solve that problem and no I don't need you to protect my online safety in exchange for my details.

I have to have my phone near my desktop every. single. time. I want to login to my yahoo mail. This is very irritating and I have tried 7 different ways to send a support message through email but THAT keeps getting rerouted back to the main "help" menu. I have cookies enabled. It would be awesome to find an email address ask for support through instead of jumping through hoops. Thanks in advance.

First, you removed the workaround for people without cellphones that Classic had, then you put it back, now you have removed it again. I have been able to still get in my email by closing the browser and trying again. Would Yahoo rather that I change to gmail to avoid being permanently locked out of my email because I don't have a cellphone? You don't have a category for "Yahoo messed it up again."

I don't know what is happening, but in the last 48 hours, every time I want to login to check my emails, I have to load a code you send me to my other email address, because you detected some unusual or suspicious activity in my account, well, I don{t see anything unusual and you are driving me crazy with these stupid codes.
