I am using
Firefox 97.0.1 on a desktop with Win 10 Pro. I received an e-mail telling me that on 2/23, unless I upgrade my mail I will not be able to sign into my Yahoo e-mail. I assume this is a scam and I tried to look at the raw message, but when I selected that, nothing happened. I went to MS Edge, and that worked, but it did not help resolve my question. Please respond and let me know about this. **** -

make sure a page to verify a person account log in works so their account won't be blocked

you are sending people their account will be blocked if not verified by Nov 30 but the link to verify page 404 is not a page.

I got an email prompting me to use my Yahoo account. The link in the email logged me in directly - no security. Once in I was able to change my password without knowing the existing one. Good practice is to require the existing PW.
As it is now, anyone who gets such an email can take over the account. Unlikely BUT a needless hole.

I use yahoo email day in and out. I still keep getting email stating: We noticed that you haven’t signed in to your account and will be deleted. Support says dont worry Yahoo is sending to everyone.
Why do you want to confuse/irritate everyone with the emails and can't these emails be directed to targeted group. -

I got an email saying I made a "Request to Terminate my Yahoo account" and I suspect it is a scam attempt. Any info on this? Thanks.
-
Eliza Gonzalez commented
I just received an email that gave me ticket number and stated that because I had violated the terms and policy that my account was placed on a short list for termination. First, i hardly use my yahoo email except to look in inbox and delete all spam. Second, it says final notice. This is the first time I have received any notice from what appears to be yahoo. Then it is asking me to follow a link to "re authenticate" my account. Not sure what to make of this.
