Go back to a lighter background on the Header bar. The new one is TOO DARK. It's BLACK..!!

The "new" Yahoo mail is especially disconcerting and NOT user friendly if you have certain disabilities as I do. Adding glitz and glamor to a basic communication medium creates greater difficulty than using a more straight forward layout that Yahoo had with the previous version. More stuff is not better, and simple presentation without adding more needless clutter is far better for those of us with issues. Please provide the option to stick with the previous version. Thank you.

A different font is being used now. Looks like my printer needs new toner. Distracting, annoying and harder to read. Why?

I want nicer themes. I would like a thin garden of flowers. Not just a green line.

I hate the new colors and themes. With all the cool computer stuff out there, it's hard to fathom why you guys stick with these Godawful UGLY themes!!

Please bring the PINK THEME back to yahoo mail! Your themes and customization is way too limited! :(

Me to, Angela! The old backgrounds were much, much better, more human. I don't like the new yahoo version

I use several accounts and like to color code them to avoid accidentally using wrong account. My preference would be a range of basic colors, then with option of adjusting density of color. Don't care about images or patterns or anything like that, just more color options.

Why? You petulant little tech bots, did you remove all of the themes in Yahoo Mail favor of...Sunset Aussie? Nauseating colors? I get that Yahoo brands itself with some teeth-hurting purple, that you think some Kool-Aid drinking Yahoo fan might use, but paying customers (like myself) should be able to select themes, backgrounds for the Mail page like, oh....Google does. Google lets the subscriber pick many, many more themes. But you bots with blinders force customers to live in your little world. OFFER MORE THEMES.

Stop trying to fix something that isn't broken. You're like a bunch of hyper children that can't stop touching things!!

Give us back the old themes. They're still available in MyYahoo. Give them back!

All the "new and improved" colors are either TOO BRIGHT or TOO DARK. People spend hours on email. Make it suitable for users. (suggestion: get input from Opthmalogists......) This was not an improvement but major setback

I'm reposting this message (someone elses) from below as I agree 100% with it - and the MANY other similar comments. The new bright white contrasting color scheme is a strain on my eyes. LISTEN TO YOUR CUSTOMERS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why the HELL do you make crap changes like this that actually have negative and damaging effects for some of us? Seriously, do you truly not care?
There is NO DIFFERENCE where it counts between the "light" and "medium" settings. You HAD good contrasts before.
"On currently-available Yahoo! email themes the brights are too bright . You can choose white lettering on different colored backgrounds but the white lettering is too white. Hurts the eyes. You can choose a white background with dark lettering but the white background is also too bright. The white needs to be toned down. Make a theme for people with sensitive eyes. Maybe dark gray background and lighter gray lettering but with the right contrast so as to still see the lettering.
You are supposed to be technologically adept people. You should be able to easily do this." -

Give me back my color scheme. I still have them for calendar, so it's not like God disappeared them off the face of the earth.

Can't change calendar background at all with new mail. Update your technology & quit moving backward.
