Contacts hard to find, edit, alter, and delete
Since the new changes it has become much more difficult to search and edit or delete a single contact. It would be very helpful if a dropdown menu were available to search by several choices such as ending email address or last name or company. partial name, with the ability to select the item and go to edit.

I can't figure out how to delete a duplicate contact, but you managed to delete my entire contact list except for 10. You listed them as my top ten which they weren't. It has been a pain to get some of them back. Some I never will find. Thanks Yahoo.

For some reason Yahoo mail was down for a period of time yesterday and now it appears to be functioning EXCEPT SOME OF MY CONTACTS ARE MISSING AND SO IS SOME OF THE FUNCTIONALITY OF RESTORING LOST CONTACTS IF THAT WOULD HELP.
I AM VERY CLOSE TO MOVING TO ANOTHER EMAIL SERVICE. PLEASE PROVIDE ME WITH AN EXPLANATION QUICKLY. -

Contacts are listed by first name. This is backward. Should be by last name.
Also can't easily print all contact info. -

I want to delete an e-mail address from the address book but cannot. There is no way to do it.

I totally agree!!! And OBVIOUSLY not the only one who feels this way. Somehow not able to keep the lists of contacts I used to have. One for Prostate Support group; one for Potluck group; One for Winers group; One for Motorcycle group; the Grrrs.
Why not lists any more? That was/is a huge step back. And I have remade them every month since it changed, They just will not stay. I would rather to use my Yahoo as a default program, but cannot find a way to change it. What the heck is going on?
I have used my dejawog@sbcglobal.net e-mail since the days of "You've Got Mail.'
Everything its connected to that. I cannot afford to change it, but it seems to be increasingly difficult to work through it. -

100% agree. You actually took aways functionality. Bring back the ability to export into a mailing label. CSV file it not cutting it.

Why can't you select multiple contacts (or all of them) and delete in a single action?

We certainly need improvements on the ability to block spammers. For the past month I have been harassed with multiple daily emails from popcornlists.com, a spammer group out of Budapest. They change their address slightly to get around Yahoo filters... john@popcornlist.com, jane@popcornlist.com, etc. A wildcard search and block on "popcornlist" would end this nonsense. Just one example I am sure of many where spammers get around blocks with easy address variations that are likely automated to cycle through an endless string of false identities.

Agree that it's way more difficult to edit contacts. Sometimes, I KNOW a contact is in the list, but the 'no contact found' answer comes up. I can enter the contact in the 'Compose' function and it comes up fine, but when I try to find it in the contact list to edit it, 'no contact found.' How can that be?????????!!!!!!!

Sorting the Contact List for a personal preference!
I like the older system for sorting names! The Contact List could be used to sort out special groups for sending a bulk mail. This is no longer possible,
The old Contact System was much better!

I find the tools for editing contact lists to be very hard to use. If I add a contact, I should also be able to add it to a list in the regular set up, like adding a telephone number. I should also be able to print the contents of a list of contacts...

I have two deceased people on my contacts that I cannot find a way to remove. Also, I can't figure out how to put existing contacts into a particular group. This is way too hard to operate.
