Contacts hard to find, edit, alter, and delete
Since the new changes it has become much more difficult to search and edit or delete a single contact. It would be very helpful if a dropdown menu were available to search by several choices such as ending email address or last name or company. partial name, with the ability to select the item and go to edit.

Just confirming what so many others are saying . . . that the current way of working with contacts and lists are extremely problematic, unreliable, and frustrating in relation to sorting, not being able to organize entries flexibly and alphabetically, entries and addresses showing up then disappearing or being deleted in the main list but still showing up in BCC postings of a list, etc. The lack of consistency and trustworthiness in functionality is absolutely maddening. Hoping for fixes to all of these glitches VERY SOON.

Contacts feature is a miserable failure. Format doesn't allow one to edit. Information is one long crazy linear text. Old format did everything that was needed. New format is terrible and doesn't even work well.

Why do we waste our time giving feedback to Yahoo Mail? Here I go wasting my time again...Names have fallen out of my lists & Yahoo has taken away our ability to add them back or add new names to lists. Why?

I am so furious I'm in tears. Opened my email today to add a contact and put it on a list. My folders were all gone. My lists were all gone. I have worked for 2 years to organize email lists for a newsletter I publish. I tried to recreate them but found to way to "add to list." Searched Help, searched Settings, Watched video on new inbox. NOTHING! I'm ready to quit Yahoo after 25+ years!

This new contact list is absolutely horrible why is it that I have two and three different items in this list for the same person. I tried to delete the doubles and it deleted my main contact. why in the world would you change a good contact list to this horrible one???

I can't send to my group under LISTS. A real PITA. I will ditch you, Yahoo, for something better.

Not all of my contacts transferred over and some are just wrong. It shows a picture of someone else, says it's me and then has both mine and her email addresses listed under my name. I start to compose an email to her and her photo with my name pops up fills the "TO:" field.
This is just wrong!

Even when using the Edit feature I find the sidebar version of Contacts unacceptable. I keep a lot of notes on my Contacts and if they don't open into a larger format I cannot view all info satisfactorily.

I need my contact lists to be able to be alphabetized by last name. My contacts have been split into phone numbers and emails. EX: If a contact has more than one email or phone number, they are listed more than once on my list. If I delete a contact from a list, it disappears completely. I reverted back to the classic, but I can't add anyone to a list and every time I click on a contact on a list, when I am done it goes back to the default listing by first name. It normally takes me 5-10 minutes to update my emails and various contact lists. I've been working for 2 days now and still can't get it finished. This is awful!
