I installed the Yahoo app on my tablet and I had the account key. Unfortunately, my tablet had a problem and I had to reset it. Now, to access my Yahoo account on my tablet (fortunatelly I was signed in on my laptop) it requests a code and so and so. I click 'Try another way to sign in' and the answer is...
Looks like we can't recover your account online. The most common reasons are:
You have no other recovery options on file for your account
You have reached your daily limit for SMS or Email attempts'
Yes, I have other recovery options. And NO, I haven't reached my daily limit of SMS or email attempts, especially when it shows this message from the first attemp.

Tried to login with firefox today, ended up in a loop using my saved credentials. Going back to username after going through the password.
I used the recovery email to try and get in, this got me to a page asking about account key,
The firsttime I said "no later" and that dropped me back on the login page and the looping resumed ...
I did the email recovery again, this time i elected to use account key, but this got me back to the login again with the aggravating, by now login loop, with every time a notification from my phone account key thing.
I switched from Firefox to chrome just to check if the password got reset, account key kicked in and I got in to my emails.
I then kept chrome up and went back to the firefox (still on login) this kicked anther account key notification, and (finally) got in.
No idea what's the deal with the login loop, or why accoutn key went nowhere at first in Firefox.
What's the deal with the saved credentials looping me through like this?
