My problem isn't that the folders are empty, my problem is that the folders show the emails BUT when you go to read them the emails are empty except for an add for yahoo mail +.
At first I didn't know if the problem was with a change in Chrome or a change to yahoo mail, or possibly both so I did some testing.
- Normally I use Chrome and then load yahoo.com, and then go to yahoo mail, BUT
I can't get to any email text this way.
- It took me a while to do the testing but here's the solution I found that works for me:
- If I start with Microsoft Edge
- then load yahoo.com
- then go to yahoo mail
- Now my emails show AND I can now get and read my email's --- AND
as a bonus --- NO yahoo mail + add.Now my rant ... First, I do NOT work for yahoo. Whoever those f/king idiots are who decided to
jump on the "+" bandwagon, (to increase company profit), and change something that worked (and was popular) into something that does NOT work should all be fired AND then shot AND then maybe burnt-at-the-stake AND then I'd say dump the bodies in the ocean, but not even sharks would touch the bodies so just dump the bodies over a a cliff somewhere. This include everyone from the exec's who thought this was a good idea and approved the changes to the programmers and the testers who were supposed to find the bugs in the program.
I've used yahoo for more years that I can remember but once I figure out what I want to use as a replacement I'll be quitting yahoo. -

I JUST RESTORED OVER 30 E-MAILS FROM THE PAST THREE DAYS THAT I WANTED TO KEEP IN MY INBOX--BUT SOMEHOW THIS F/ed UP YAHOO PROGRAM DECIDED TO PLACE THEM ALL IN THE "TRASH" FOLDER. VERIZON/YAHOO HAS BEEN TRYING FOR YEARS TO MAKE THEIR PLATFORM EVEN SHITTIER THAN MS OUTLOOK. LOOKS LIKE THEY'VE ROARINGLY SUCCEEDED!

Who's decision was this to delete emails without a massive opportunity to have them backed up - even if you needed to charge a small amount for the service? This is no way to treat valued customers with a history going back decades.

Who do we even contact to try and figure this out? I am trying to convert my Minecraft account and I can't since the code is being sent to this email, which is empty.

Logged in to find all my emails spanning a decade have been deleted. It doesn't appear they can be returned. If that's the case, I intend to boycott this company and any company associated with it.

Are you execs and techs reading these complaints at all.... you have done an unprofessional and despicable thing to all of us users. Destroyed years of messages, and unilaterally decided to just dump the memories and emotions, and in some cases the educational information, the business materials of real people doing real work that depends on files and records kept on the email site. I hope that comes back to haunt you all and that someone rich and important thinks about suing. It hurts to think of all the things I have lost today. I will never forgive yahoo.

Whoever thought this up, should be fired. That is my suggestion for what you did to years of history and documents that I need. Why in the middle of the day all of a sudden...gone. The format sucks, I can't find anything that is current layout that I was dealing with, why???? You must have some real jerks on staff to do this to thousands of loyal customers. Thanks for nothin'.

This is absolutely ridiculous and unfair. They could have at least sent a warning?? I had important emails in there and not a single bit is left.
Please fix your mistake Yahoo (more like Boohoo). -

I login today to find out that my inbox has become empty. Everything is deleted !!! Everything is gone !!! OMG !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All the emails from the $3k plus course and $2k plus course that I have attended, are all gone !!!
Can Yahoo kindly retrieve back all my emails from the beginning ones till the ones that are sent to me till today?
If Yahoo retrieve back all my emails, I'm willing to pay yearly fees to upgrade it to Premium account.

Absolutely idiotic to delete someone's mail without any warning. Yahoo needs to pay for what they've done and the executive or team who decided on this should be fired, at a minimum!
