Need to be able to see at a glance if there are new emails in collapsed folders.
I have an extremely insane amount of filters and huge folder hierarchy; many folders and many sub-folders; and a couple subfolders with subfolders of their own.
I love to be able to see at a glance if I have new email in ALL my folders while they remain collapsed (for cleaner viewing). Meaning highlight the parent folder and display the number of new emails within that folder AND its sub-folders combined. That would be extremely helpful!
As it is now, the top level folder doesn't show any indication of any new email when it is collapsed. So if you were scrolling thru your email list, you would miss new email unless you physically clicked and opened up each collapsed folder. I have a LOT of folders and subfolders! It is easier to view my folder list in collapsed form, but I need to be alerted to new emails from THAT view without having to expand everything.
And yes, I know that I can just go to the "Unread" folder, but this displays ALL unread email in date order. There are "fun" emails I really don't need to see all the time and would like not to have them in my face when I'm trying to go thru the "Important" email. With the "Unread" folder you get everything all thrown into one folder. So ya, that is not helpful.
Please fix the subfolder unread email problem! Thank you!
