Contacts auto-complete stopped working!
Also there were no email addresses in the "to" section when trying to create a msg, despite seeing them in the contacts list!
Resolution was to downgrade to classic, log out / in and upgrade again.

I had also set my contacts to sync with google, which i have now stopped. so it was either that or the downgrade / upgrade of using the latest mail that fixed it :-)
