How can we improve New Mail?

Search email by date or sender

It is important for me to be able to search mail by date and from sender. Currently this isn't possible like in other email programs.

    I need the sort/search by Subject or by Sender. And Yahoo changed that option!!
    And the only way to get "help" with that is to PAY YAHOO. Yahoo has been my primary email since I started using email. Without this sort option. I will have to use another email service that does provide this. Sorry Yahoo, but if we can't fix this I'm leaving.
