Errors with deleting emails
When deleting my Gmail emails they go to an archive folder instead of deleting so I am constantly deleting emails, some as old as 2010. I hate this and do not understand why Gmail does this. It is linked to my yahoo account and it doesn't matter if I use the Gmail app or the yahoo one for my email. Only my Gmail account does this. It is very annoying and frustrating to have to keep deleting junk. I hope there is a way that Gmail can fix this. Thanks!

Hi Erica, yes this is definitely Gmail's feature, archiving. One way around it, where you don't have to archive, but delete, is to use the Yahoo Mail app. Go to Settings and change your swipe actions where you can delete, instead of Archive. So from the app, Profile Icon > Settings > Swipe Actions.
