   Received email from Yahoo re storage. "Check your current storage in account settings." Clicking on the link takes me to "Appearance," with no mention of storage anywhere in sight. Typical Yahoo—worthless.

4. 20GB Mail Storage Announcement

   I've been using yahoo mail for more than 2 decades. It's not the highest quality mail platform but it has been good enough for me, without the hassle that many other providers have. The bugs and the slower mail times are annoyances that can be tolerated for the sake of y!mail's simplicity. The ads are almost enough to make me leave, but at least it's an understandable trade for providing me a service for so long. No invasive AI, no huge spyware, generally a steady product you can use for decades with only occasional misguided update. But I have to protest the upcoming changes.

   First off, 20GB isn't industry leading, it's the bare minimum standard.

   Limiting user mailbox size after many years of unlimited storage is in no way a consumer-friendly "improvement" as your announcement says.

   Despite decades of use, it seems I'm still below this threshold. Still, it was quite the jumpscare to threaten a lifetime archive of personal internet presence.

   What makes you think users are going to stick around to pay for improved storage here when there are features and reliability they can find elsewhere?

   What is this going to cost you in goodwill?

   I suggest rolling back this announcement. The vast majority of users aren't going to surpass that threshold and all you're doing is putting stress into the situation with a negative decision.

5. Upgrade & Improve Yahoo's paid mail support

   I've read what you have about posting issues with logins. However, this appears to be the only place to tell you how disappointing it was working with your support team. I suspect your validation software is fatally flawed and can't recognize Black and Brown people, as it can't validate a valid Wisconsin driver's license.

9. LOL....go back to the old mail!

   I just found how to go back to the "old" yahoo email. OMG...It is so much better then your "new" (I assume you meant to improve it too) yahoo email. Old Yahoo email is SO MUCH EASIER TO READ AND VIEW; e.g. as simple as better viewing of read vs unread email, the old version is so much better! Out of curiosity, what is supposed to be better about the "new" yahoo email?

10. FIX IT! NO way to access storage use!!!

    so I get a message about cutting the storage to 20gb for free mail. I can find the storage on my app but after deleting a bunch of mail including deleting it from trash, the amount is still the same. I have searched all over your website on my computer to find my storage without any success. Can you people tell me where you hid it??? It is total nonsense not to be able to accurately see your storage use!!!

    How can I get back CLASSIC EMAIL? I absolutely dislike the new Yahoo email theme. Please reverse this for me.
    I did not agree to it.
    Please let me know when I can go back to original Yahoo themed mail.

13. make viewing storage easier or an option at all

    stop sending emails to us about storage then refusing to show us the storage section when we go looking, im not clicking on links in emails by anyone including ones you say you sent. checking my storage should be as simple as clicking on storage in the list of my emails to the left, not showing it under the profile icon but telling me to go there to view it is insane...

14. Mail Filters

    Yahoo Mail filters not applying correctly. Since 2025 Q1, without any changes to the end-user settings, mail filter rules are not applying correctly. Multiple emails are being mishandled and misdirected to the wrong folders where multiple rules apply.

    It is possible the order priority of operation is not being followed (top rule takes precedent) or the filter rules are not stopping when a match is found resulting in multiple rule conflicts.

    getting lots of spam with really long from senders. you should limit the amount of characters
    in the from field to stop a lot of it. I am starting to see that this may be to much for you handle. spam is out of hand.
