Feedback about changes regarding storages
I am extremely disappointed with Yahoo's decision to limit mailbox storage and charge users for additional capacity.
When I originally signed up for Yahoo Mail more than 20 years ago, one of the key selling points was the promise of unlimited email storage. I have relied on that commitment for decades and have accumulated over 30 GB of emails based on the understanding that my storage would continue to be available.
Now I am being told that my storage will be restricted to 15 GB unless I pay for additional space. This feels like a complete reversal of the commitment that was made to long-term customers who joined and remained loyal to the platform because of the unlimited storage promise.
Changing the terms after customers have invested years of their personal and professional correspondence in your service is extremely disappointing. Long-standing users should not be penalised for relying on a feature that was heavily promoted when they joined.
I ask that Yahoo reconsider this decision and provide a reasonable solution for existing customers who signed up under the unlimited storage offering.
