  3. Change the default inbox view to remove grouping.

    I would like to be able to change the default view such that it not grouped by day. I find this takes up space needlessly. Some people may like this view but I generally use my inbox as a to do list, and chopping things up by these day groups is distracting. Since the list of mails can easily be sorted by date already the grouping is unnecessary (to me at least), and in some cases can reduce the number of messages displayed by up to 50%…

  6. Filters do not work very often.

    The filters do not work very often. I have created multiple versions for some emails and they still keep showing up in my inbox. Even ones I created a long time ago only work occasionally. Why is this so hard?

    Often times, filters won’t work because they are too specific, or too broad. Double check your filter parameters to make sure you aren’t being too precise or too vague.

    Also, keep in mind that filters work on position: filters at the top of the list will take priority over lower ones. Our Spam filters also override any filters on the account, so if something is deemed to be Spam, it will ignore filters on the account and go there.

  8. stop improving things

    how about putting controls where people can actually find them? the "settings" is all about making the screen look pretty; where are the mail filters and such?
    I'm visually impaired and I kept to the old scheme simply because the appalling colour options on the "Improved" version did my eyes and my head in. Why can't people have plain colour background? why do they have to have stupid colour changes that make the screen unreadable?

  10. Mackeeper is in my mail box and it blocks the trash box ?? how do I clear my mail box of mackeeper without opening it ??

  14. Give us the option to chose weither or not we want our personal data to be shared!!!

    Just because the world is demanding everyone to have an email address now, is no reason for companies to steal our personal information. Where is our freedom of privacy, when you force all of us to freely hand over our personal lives to your prying eyes? It is a serious violation of trust and personal space, especially when you cannot stop hackers from stealing our data, and you want us to share more. It is illegal for people to tamper with your personal mail, but nothing protects us from…

  18. Can't figure out how to adjust font size in mails. Display of emails do not include the time, which frustrating. I

    Why can't setting include font size, why are you making this so difficult.
    We might consider changing from yahoo mail, if changes aren't made. You need to remember the baby boomers age group is the largest in
    this generation, and we are 65-75 years old. Get a grip, and know who your demographis are, we should need a tutorial to use email now.

  20. Let me set a default mail account

    I have two email accounts: one with my generic Yahoo username and one with Yahoo small business. With new mail, both accounts are available under the Compose button. But every time I log in on desktop, my generic Yahoo username account opens first. I never use that account. I want my small business account to open by default. Right now, every time I log in on desktop, it's an extra click. Let me set which one should open by default.
