    I don't like the new design. The minimalist design has no character and looks sparse. The slim purple line denoting what email I am clicked on is too small and difficult to see. The white option is too bright and offensive and the all dark is too dark and hard to read. I would like to have a color background. I also liked having all of my folders listed on the left.

    The new design is awful, too white, too much empty space at least with Gmail, you can see everything without having to move the line about just to read an email. If itstays, i will change all of my contacts to gmail after having had yahoo for over 20 years,

    Agree, yahoo mail seems to lose its own strength by over-mimicking gmail. The previous version was so much better over this update, and had several stronger features over gmail!

    I'm switching back to basic. After trying the new version, my eyes are strained and I wholly dislike the look. If I wanted Gmail to be my primary account, I'd be using that instead of Yahoo.

    Switched back to basic, I did not like the way that looked. That's why I use yahoo for over 20 years is because of how it looked

    If you click on Mail Settings, you can switch back to basic mail. I did, and decided to come back here to tell y'all about it.

    I agree with this, the new look is garbage. There was a reason to why I used Yahoo over Gmail. I've been with you guys for over 20+ years, don't do this to me now.

    I don't like the new look and can I go back to the old look as I like it better. this look is to much like Gmail and is more complicated, how can I go back to the old way.

    I started a new yahoo because I wanted to see what the new interface was, please do not force this as an upgrade to older accounts. It took away everything I liked about Yahoo Mail. No themes, all white design. just no.
