Filtering is fine, but by default, I want to see All, not Priority
Filtering is fine, but by default, I want to see All, not Priority. How do I fix this? If I want priority, I can click on it later. I've missed important emails that your 'AI' nonsense put in another category.

I do not like the priority thing. It switches me from all to priority and I have to keep switching back. It is very annoying.

I have turned off inbox categories until this is addressed. It is a disaster waiting to happen, and also very frustrating when I often hit "inbox" to jump back from whatever email thread I'm in.

How do I set up mail to display "ALL" mail instead of "Priority" mail???

Also, if I am in a different folder, when I delete a message it takes me back to the priority inbox vs whatever other inbox adding so many more clicks and time to do anything

I have no idea why any developer would think making the default view of the mailbox should be "Priority". The user must be able to switch the default to "All" or something to their liking. This is a deal killer for me. If there is a way to change this now; kindly explain. Thanks.

Also, what happened to colored themes?

Folks, the work around is to go into settings, 1st option, UNselect msg filtering (auto-sort).
Not a great fix, in that they no longer even screen msg's on the basis of dates!
Why are these new versions always a trial & worse for the end user? -

I'm not happy with Priority being selected by default when opening my inbox and I prefer to see everything from the start.

Allow me to set "ALL" mail section as default instead of priority, I prefer to see all of my mail.

It does make managing emails very labor intensive. This new "thing" they have done has multiplied our workload as it pops back to 'Priority' every time you go back to the inbox.

Hi Vass, yes we've seen this asked by our Community. It has been a popular request! We will merge this thread with the others and definitely let you know when we launch this ability. Thank you for letting us know! We really appreciate you trying out the new Desktop experience!

I do NOT like that the default view is Priority. I missed new emails since I was use to the all view of just seeing all messages. HATE it. HATE it. Hate it.

What criteria is used to determine priority? Can I modify what is earmarked as ''priority'? I don't want Yahoo deciding what is a priority email for me.

Agree! I have unchecked the filtering in Settings, but when I open my email, it still defaults to "Priority." I do not want this!! I want to see ALL emails.

Hi Brian, thank you for sharing your feedback with us! Yes, currently it does default to Priority and not the other tabs, including "All." We do not have the ability to customize/default the tabs to your preference, yet, but will certainly share your feedback with the right team. Thanks again!
