Right Side Panel (Contacts, Starred, Etc)
There should be a way to remove the contact box on the right. This feature is useful when two windows (one is yahoomail) are displayed side-by-side. During these situations, window real estate is valuable.

In general, I don't like this new format. On my phone I lose too many emails because i barely touch them and they slide to delete. I'm trying to look. On my laptop, the box to the right is not needed and I can't open emails properly when things are attached. I also cannot empty my spam file all at once and the categories to the left I don't like the arrangement. I've used Yahoo for around 25 years, and this is the first time I've considered no longer using it.

I want to control what I see and don't see. If you have an option - fine - but i pay for this. It should be up to the user to determine what they see and what they don't. I don't want to see the right side panel unless I want to - because i want more real estate for my emails.
I also want the options of what I can choose to be in the right side panel - drafts, contacts, starred, previews etc.
FURTHERMORE I SHOULD HAVE THE OPTION TO HAVE OR NOT HAVE EVERYTHING. LIKE FULL CONTROL OF MY FOLDERS, FULL CONTROL OF COLORS I WANT FOR READ OR UNREAD EMAILS, FULL CONTROL TO MOVE AN EMAIL FROM ANY LOCATION TO THE LOCATION I WANT. FULL OPTION TO HAVE AI OR NOT. I DONT' WANT TO BE DICTATED TO ABOUT MY EMAIL INTERFACE.

The Starred/Contacts section is occupying one third of available screen. Whoever vetted this design needs to have their bonuses revoked.
Please give us an option to hide this so we can read our emails .

I do not need, or want the right side panel. It wastes space, it is in my way. For those who do not use it allow it to be removed. For a PC user like me it is useless.

I would like to remove (or the option to remove) the right side section with the previews. It makes my email section not fit on my screen. My laptop screen is 20" and I have my screen zoom set to the normal 100%. I only need to see my contact & other starred stuff rarely. I don't need it to always be up on the right side. I don't need the preview emails either.

Please allow an option to remove this big empty box on the right, it takes up space.

This would be a very useful feature.

Ability to remove the right panel. You should be able to remove the right panel, on a 15" screen the real estate is very limited and having this take up 1/3 of the screen is wasted space.

I don't like the two letters in a circle beside the senders email. This distracts me. I don't like the new Standard Version because you have the box for the star messages on the right. This takes space from the page. And what if I don't want to star any messages? Then this box is useless and takes space.

Have the ability to remove/Hide the "STARED" Emails located on the right side. This would allow a bigger page for the email box.

Please remove the auto opening side bar showing starred items from the email screen. I cannot see the text in the email without move the slide bar and it is irritating - seems a step backwards in technology to me.
I dont want to have to open every email to see the basic content - this side bar is IN MY WAY -

Please delete the obtrusive right side panel, which takes valuable screen width away from the email section, and that contains only redundant starred and contacts that are already in the functional left side panel. The right side panel makes the new Yahoo email dysfunctional.

The new version of Yahoo does not allow us to minimize the Contacts section. So the actual space to read an open email is quite small. I contacted the service department and was completely shocked to learn that you can't shrink or hide this section. Even though it takes up close to a third of the space on my computer screen. I do not need to see my contacts list all the time. Please fix this.

This is the MOST freaking annoying thing in the entire world, ok maybe not the world but with Yahoo mail. And the fact that we can't disable it? Are you kidding me? It's completely useless to me (and probably a lot of others).

I want to make the starred and contact list go away from the right side of the screen on my laptop. It fills up too much of the page.

I want the option to remove the "starred" column/area/block so that I can see more of the message in my detailed list.

You already have a "Starred" folder on the left side why take up the right side panel with a redundant "Starred" feature? Who designed this useless UI? For 30 years you had a great UI and email program that never caused problems. This is not designed for ANY users and shows a complete disrespect for those of us who pay you for it. Please provide the Classic version for users who want it!
