Right Side Panel (Contacts, Starred, Etc)
There should be a way to remove the contact box on the right. This feature is useful when two windows (one is yahoomail) are displayed side-by-side. During these situations, window real estate is valuable.

I want to make the starred and contact list go away from the right side of the screen on my laptop. It fills up too much of the page.

I want the option to remove the "starred" column/area/block so that I can see more of the message in my detailed list.

You already have a "Starred" folder on the left side why take up the right side panel with a redundant "Starred" feature? Who designed this useless UI? For 30 years you had a great UI and email program that never caused problems. This is not designed for ANY users and shows a complete disrespect for those of us who pay you for it. Please provide the Classic version for users who want it!

I have low vision, and losing real estate to be able to read my messages is very frustrating.

The right panel is the biggest problem. It takes so much space for nothing. Paid users that don't get ads there should be able to remove this right panel. Vision impaired users usually have the zoom on 125% and more and the right panel takes all the space away, so we can't use the email anymore. The new features seems to discriminate against vision impaired users. I am for 20 years with yahoo but will move on if this is not fixed.

the preview pane is not large enough now that you added the 3rd pane showing unnecessary starred emails.. with no apparent way to turn this "feature" off.. please add a settings option to NOT show this

yes, the right side panel is totally empty for me at the moment, but still squeezes the middle box to be smaller. Please give an option to hide it!

OMG ... when I click on an email in the mail client it is contrained in the middle widow...this right side box is still taking up all the browser space. Is this box even more important than reading an email. I dont know what Im going to do ...I cannot read my emails..they are cutoff in width by this right side box. Ive even maximized my browser window to full screen...but this right side box than just gets bigger still cutting off reading an email HELP!

I cannot read the subject lines in my email list... that right box takes up most of the space in the browser window... Can we not have an option to hide this box or make it a small toolbar or something? Its like the new UI was designed with someone that had a 50 inch wide screen monitor.
It makes the new UI terrible... any workarounds? -

Actually, I like the Contacts bar where it is.
I also would like to see the calendar in that area so I can see my activities when I open up the program.i know others disagree.
So, make that optional
Actually, the removal of so many display options is mind boggling. Certainly became less user friendly.

I agree with everyone. There should be an option to remove the right side panel. It takes up too much space, is duplicative, and I'd rather use the screen area for message previews.

The Contacts box on the right takes up too much space. It would preferable to let this exist as it did on the old Yahoo+ version view.

The right rail with the "Star", "Contacts" and "More" options is a waste of space on my small laptop screen. I don't use those options but they take up 25% of my screen so the inbox and message viewer sections are squeezed making it difficult to read mail. I'd like an option to collapse the right rail and allow the inbox and message viewer to use the entire width of the screen.

There are other ways to see Contacts and starred emails. Why waste 20% of screen real estate with something that can already be done elsewhere.?

Totally agree. Would rather use the real estate for seeing more of the message preview.

The starred/contacts column is of no use to me and I would greatly appreciate the option to remove it so only two columns show.
