Add an option to turn off AI summaries.
It might be useful for people with robust business-style accounts, but most of my messages are already short, or they're notifications. It makes the "summaries" redundant and obnoxious.

You are now removing titles from the email and switching it to an AI summation. This is the worst thing in existence. This is the worst AI **** in existence. You are terrible people. Holy ****. I despise you. Not you, person reading my email. But the people responsible for this deserve to go into the Black Mirror Christmas episode where they are forced to stay in the same place for 800 billion years. That should be their sentence.

I cannot describe to you how much I hate the AI overview at the top of all my emails now. I don't want it there. I don't read it. I wouldn't trust it if I did read it. Emails are not a thing I need summarized. It's just an annoying thing I now have to scroll past. Every email I open is a new reminder of how much I hate it.
The only reason I still use my Yahoo account as my primary email is because it's what's generally out there in the world and changing is a hassle. Make this thing go away or you are making my hatred of using your email platform outweigh the annoyance of using one of my other addresses as my primary. Make an easy way for me to permanently disable the AI garbage. I've searched online for how to disable it and what I found hasn't worked.

Please get rid of the stupid AI summaries on email. I hate them, they often have incorrect information or the summary makes no sense, and there is no option to turn it off in settings. If yahoo doesn't find a way to get rid of this soon, I will be finding a new email provider.

Hurry with the roll out of the ability to turn off the useless AI summary of email messages. No one asked for it and no one really needs to be contributing to climate change with AI. Moreover, I never consented to having my email read and fed into an LLM training system.

I need to know how to shut off email summaries? I should not have to pay to find this out. It is an invasion of my privacy and creeps me out. Please stop it!!!

Default to "All" instead of "Priority".
Lose the AI summaries. They are inaccurate and unnecessary. -

This feature is horrid! I do not need an AI to summarize an email for me. That is what the subject line is for! I hate this "feature" and the fact that you are using up energy resources to have AI read and summarize every email is absolutely ridiculous and gives me cause to switch email providers. It's useless and annoying and should be an optional choice, not forced on us. Please change this to an optional feature as soon as possible.

Make the option to turn off the AI email summary actually work. I tried everything after I turned off the Dynamic Message option, it's still on. Can't get rid of it. Thank you!
BTW: The instructions on google say to use the Dynamic message option on/off then click save, but there is NO save button. -

REMOVE THE AI SUMMARY FEATURE. IT's ANNOYING AND DISRUPTIVE.
You cannot remove the AI summary feature via the desktop web mail version on Yahoo!; you need to submit a suggestion via the feedback forum.
Note
Post your suggestion for the AI summary feature removal on the feedback forum. here -

Summary feature needs to be turned off. Make it an option to turn it off. It's redundant and sometimes incorrect.

The AI summaries are often inaccurate or confusing. I would like to disable these. They also take up too much room at the top of the email and it is visually overwhelming. I don't like that it defaults to showing on Priority messages - and who is determining which messages qualify as a Priority? Too many extra steps to switch to ALL and wait for it to load - and also I don't like the new "buttons" for adding to schedule or unsubscribing that cover the title of the email - I can't even see if it is something I would want to add to my schedule, etc because the button is covering half of the line. Overall, it is way too overwhelming and detailed from a visual perspective - the old version was much cleaner and I strongly prefer that

How long until we can turn off the AI summary? The feature is intrusive and useless.

Please TURN OFF artificial intelligence as a default. I am searching and not able to find how to do this in your new interface and I HATE it. I can read my own emails and DO NOT WANT IT. IT's IN THE WAY

I have tried this new e-mail system. It is difficult to use. The Classic version met my needs without being intrusive. Now, AI determines my priorities and summarizes what it "thinks" I should get out of an e-mail. It is inaccurate -- as my priorities are not the same as its priorities, and the summaries are an unnecessary distraction. My suggestion for an improvement is to bring back the Classic e-mail as an option. Or, are you afraid too many users will choose the Classic version.

Please make the summaries box in your new email optional. I hate the summaries; they are annoying and misleading. I don't want my e-mails summarized. The summaries will be the one feature that drives me away from yahoo mail. I still would much prefer the Classic Yahoo. The new one is not improved; causes me much more time and frustration. But, I can deal with all of it except for those worthless summaries. By the way, one of your summaries recently summarized what was obviously a scam; but, the summary indicated my payment was due. Do away with the summaries or at least make it an optional feature.

I just wish you would hurry up and give us the ability to disable AI summaries in Yahoo mail, as you said you are going to do. (Those summaries are so annoying!) Thank you
