Add an option to turn off AI summaries.
It might be useful for people with robust business-style accounts, but most of my messages are already short, or they're notifications. It makes the "summaries" redundant and obnoxious.

Totally agree. I do not need nor want an AI robot to summarize my emails. I can and prefer to read my emails myself.
I attempted to disable AI summaries by disabling the "Dynamic Message" option under the "Viewing email" settings but my Yahoo web client is still summarizing emails.

The new version is terrible. The AI is clueless. How could anyone have thought this was a good upgrade and allowed this to happen.

After sorting your feedback/ideas list, the AI Summary seems to be your #2 issue; only after "go back to the old Yahoo" doesn't that make AI Summary your #1 issue.

There are several other issues with fewer comments than the "AI Summary" issue, which already has the status "planned. " When can we expect the AI Summary issue to be changed from "under review" to "Planned?" The AI Summary seems to be a big complaint.

Plus, I have called Yahoo Support three times to find out how to turn this "feature" off. On the third call, the technician finally said, "There is no option to turn off the feature." My only recourse is to leave feedback.

The AI summaries clutter my screen and cause me to miss important information in the body of the email. At least make an option to TURN IT OFF.

I'd just like to echo the request to disable the AI summary in incoming emails. Please prioritize this ability as soon as possible. Like others have said, this is my personal account, and my incoming emails are already brief. The AI summary creates redundancy, or a risk of missing the original message altogether if I don't scroll down to see it - creating more unnecessary key strokes/mouse strokes. This cumbersome new feature in Yahoo has me using my Gmail account more frequently.

I'm insulted that Yahoo thinks I can't read my emails for myself. I would NEVER trust it blindly without reading the entire original message. It's just a waste of space and it's quite irritating.

AI summaries are confusing, inaccurate and annoying! We should be able to turn them off for good. I have a paid Yahoo! subscription. I want the full old version back, please.

The AI summaries are confusing and inaccurate and clutter the page. I can read my email all by myself! I turned off the Dynamic Message function hoping it would stop the summaries but so far they are still appearing. I will have to abandon Yahoo if this inaccurate and annoying feature can't be turned off.

I don't like anything about the new Yahoo and AI trying to make it appealing after yahoo couldn't do it a few years ago, when a lot of users voiced their disapproval. Now AI isn't making it any better and I don't like AI trying to help me write e mails and the new look. Yahoo & AI took away our switch back to basic Yahoo option, what's next. I don't think that yahoo even looks at our feedback anymore. I have no idea how we can actually get in touch with Yahoo. It kind of looks like you have to pay for help by phone and absolutely info on line as suggested. Since I'm not getting anywhere with feedback, I will try my feedback on Facebook and see what happens from there. This AI generated Yahoo Mail is no good for users like me 5-6 hours a day. Change back to the old Yahoo Mail.

Get rid of the summary box - only causes confusion - said I sold 100 shares of ABC stock? Really - i don't own ABC stock. I just want to read my own emails. This is stupid AI and USELESS!!

I miss summaries of emails in inbox, etc.
Also, latest incoming don't show.
AI summary annoying.
I like ease of "mark as unread" at top ribbon.
