'Message preview' bug
under Settings---> Appearance---> Message Preview...the toggle to 'Show message preview in inbox' is not working...no matter if I set it On or Off it always reverts to On...I want to disable 'Message Preview'
I've tried using multiple web browsers including Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome...I also refreshed my browser afterwards...it's a bug in the new Yahoo Mail software...please share this with the Support Team to fix

Why do we have these previews on our emails when the previews are turned off in the settings?

I opted out of receiving the previews because I absolutely hate them yet I still get them with some of my emails. The previews are a total waste of time to read and do not add value. I don't need or want Yahoo's "help" with my emails. My expectation when I opted out of the previews was that I would no longer receive any previews.

Message preview is always on even if it is turned off in settings. I like to see the full message title and with message preview both message title and preview are truncated, which makes for a cluttered, awful appearance.
Although a fan of minimalism, the absence of the possibility of selecting themes is disappointing.
Why are the options below folders hidden? There are just 8 of them.
In the old version, the block sender option in spam would both block the sender and delete the message for good. In the new one you have to select the message square and block the sender, but even then the message only gets removed from spam to trash. -

Get rid of Dyanamic messages, or make the slide bar work to turn them off !!!!

Don't want email preview combined with subject line. How can that be turned off?

I only want to see the complete subject and not a message preview. The option to turn off the message preview in the inbox is not working. The previous version of Yahoo Mail was better and I would like to have the option to bring it back.

Please give me the ability to trun off Dynamic View - it is off in my settings but continues to be operational.

it's confusing that the email titles are partially overwritten with the first line of the email itself in the email list
I've never seen an email app make such a basic design mistake.
it's been there since day one and i cannot work out how to stop it in settings. Preview is off.
All we need in an email list is: Sender, title, date/time. -

The new interface cuts off the Subject column text and includes a message preview (even with message preview toggled off in settings). I'd rather not see the message preview and have the Subject display in full (or be adjustable). This maintains the privacy of the email body when looking at the inbox list.

Give me back the old classic view; much more inviting than this bubble-like gimmicky view. YOu took away font choices, emoji's, etc in the "classic view" which is still available. Preview of message does not work in either classic or the new version.

Message preview is NOT working when using the 'List' view in the Appearance settings. However, if you switch to 'Right' view, the email preview function works. PLEASE fix the preview function to work while using the 'List' viewing option.

Closing the message preview is off. I want to be able to close the message preview, and see "no email selected"

Hi Jessica, yes we are working on this! We have this available in Settings, to disable message preview, but it's currently not working. We are definitely working on fixing this! Thank you for your patience.

Can you please allow only subject lines (no email preview) on the desktop version? The partial subject along with the partial preview makes it so cluttered it's hard to read.
