Images continue to show despite changing setting, this is unsafe
I want to use the new Yahoo mail but it feels unsafe to do so until the images are truly blocked. They are still there for me. But when I switch to the older version they are gone.

Hi,
I noticed I am now seeing images in the new Yahoo Mail by default, despite that my settings are "Ask before showing external images"
This may be a deal breaker for me (despite having had Yahoo Mail for 20 years) if this does not block calls to 3rd party servers by default.
How are these images loading?
I prefer the visual look of images, but not if they include the potential for 3rd party servers to get called while I load my email.

Similar posts closed with the excuse that it works fine. It does not work. Chrome, Firefox, Edge. Across devices, external images are always loaded.

Hi Laura, we can't seem to replicate. It's working fine for us, so let's see a few things:
1. What browser are you using? We'd love the version number as well.
2. Also, after your change the setting are you refreshing the browser completely?
