Return to Classic Mail
Go back to the original Yahoo. This is terrible. Why do I have to click on the 3 dots on the bottom to get the Spam and Trash Folders. They should be on the top with the icons for inbox, etc.

The new Yahoo mail version is awful!!!!!!!!!! I can't scroll to see the bottom of the window and I can't open my window larger to view what it won't let me view. It is hard to find anything. It looks dull and boring. It really is awful. If I can't figure this out, I am going to stop using yahoo all together. I have been using it for over 16 years.
This forced change is awful and I am very upset trying to find things and navigate on the mail page with my computer. I can only manage my email on my phone. Having to use only my phone to understand how to use and navigate my emails is not worth it.
Yahoo should have never discontinued the classic version (which always was superior to all versions after). New is not always better, and for my experience with Yahoo mail, the old was always superior. I am very dissatisfied with this change.

This new layout was made with one thing in mind: more space for ads to save Yahoo. This drastic change however, will backfire, forcing people to go over to Gmail.
The old layout was tailored for ... serving email. It was compact, detailed, and dependable. Space was used with efficiency in mind, and you could even customize its aesthetics for a business look or a friendlier vibe.
This new layout is not for a heavy user, my immediate reaction was how much unused space there was, contrasted by how small the message preview window was. You'd think it's a no brainer to just expand the preview window to the right, and minimize secondary page elements, but then that wouldn't align with the ads first, user last thing they've got going on. Here I am scrolling in 11 dimensions just to read the whole message that is too wide and too tall for the preview window, while HALF the page is empty!
This is only one bad aspect, but there are unlimited quirks to this new layout. For example:
- Can't see new message icon on connected inboxes.
- Dark mode affects the email content for some reason, which ruins how the sender intended the email to look and makes some text unreadable (that's a corporate nightmare in and of itself).
- No longer able to exit an email by pressing "esc", creating privacy concerns.
- The incredibly problematic AI summaries that no one asked for, causing even more privacy concerns.
- Can't empty trash from the outside.
- Multiple clicks necessary to switch inboxes, access trash, spam and other folders.
- Claustrophobic.
- Oh and, it doesn't update the inbox as frequently. Try sending a test email to yourself, it'll take about a minute to see it in your inbox, unless you refresh (welcome to new basic mail).I've relied on Yahoo for almost two decades, but I consider this too much, so I think it's time to switch.

How do I go back to the classic UI?
"*Those asking about going back to the old version. Unfortunately, if you do not see the "Go Back" button you cannot to back. We really hope you'll try the new experience! Thanks! "
Then put the "Go Back" button back on my UI. I've already tried the "new experience." It was not a good experience.

Yahoo mail sucks now...im about to just stop using it and start using my Google mail. It sucks more each day..i learned that if i want to delete files in the Sent folder, in the past i could click on all and press delete onec, some moron thought it was good idea to make users have tio click delete for each file, so if i sent 50 emails i have tio press delete 50 times! Talk about going backwards in technology!!!

To yahoo management:
the new look is BLOODY TERRIBLE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! as well as SOOOOOO VERY HATED !!!!!!!!!!!!! by all users of your platform and I would VERY STRONGLY !!!!!!!!!!!!! advise that you pay attention to us (your users) before we take our loyalty and give to someone else. In short listen to what we're saying or suffer the consequences of being STUPID !!!!! and stubborn as we (your users) LEAVE IN DROVES !!!! and go elsewhere. I'm quite sure Gmail would love the increase in business.

I tried to dump the new version, but it won't let me go to basic. They really should just go badk to the previous version. I don't know why they messed it up like that. Maybe they're just bored, but it's really a mess.

If the basic mail option had a reading pane, I'd be happy with it. this new mail is the worst they've done yet. It's glitchy when you scroll. Unread emails is nowhere on the page and it should be more clear on each messages if read or unread. also needs to be one click to toggle between all and unread. Ads look like unread messages, so if I were an ad provider, id pull out immediately because you'll be paying for a lot more clicks because yahoo deceived users into clicking. so much more trash, but some you can turn off.
