Return to Classic Mail
Go back to the original Yahoo. This is terrible. Why do I have to click on the 3 dots on the bottom to get the Spam and Trash Folders. They should be on the top with the icons for inbox, etc.

The new email is awful in that read messages are highlighted grey, it was much better when the message was bold or not bold.
I might cope with that. but when I switch between my several accounts, not all of them show up. I have to exit then come back in and try again.
I might cope with that, but when I switch to the basic email, it has no option for me to switch email accounts. I have to go to the new mail and switch there, but not all my accounts show u, I have to mess with it to get the account I want.
So, knowing Microsoft software is awful, I decided to try Outlook which I have had on my PC for ages. I was surprised. All my yahoo email accounts came over seamlessly, the desktop is clean and that awful grey highlighting is not there, and I can easily switch accounts.
Message to yahoo, do not fix things that are not broken, do not remove options in the basic email system which was never broken.
How about soliciting user views?

Please go back to classic view on Yahoo mail. I can't live with the new version and will have to leave Yahoo.

I switched to gmail and you can get it to look roughly like the old yahoo verison by picking the mahoganey theme (it is deep purple like the old Yahoo) and picking compact view. I am now a gmail person for the first time in my life lol. But I am having trouble putting my yahoo email on the gmail account probably because they are upset about this

I don't like new email. Goes to Priority mail and I didn't realize I missed over half my emails. New setup doesn't show video display of you tube like old one. I like to see what I sent, now it is only characters. i like old one

I thought the last change was bad...this one is horrible, the worst I've seen in 25 years with Yahoo.

Why are geeks so stupid? But I saw in the comments that there is twice the room for ads. Oh, so that's your game. Disgusting capitalists. The hate for IT companies is growing and this shows why.

Bring back the Classic version! Why did you mess with it? It wasn't broke! It was working fine! This version seems to have less features than the Classic version! Bring back the Classic Version!

Please give us the option to return to the classic version. It is much easier to use because you can see at once how many emails have not been read. I can't seem to do this in the news version. Plus I'm accustomed to it and know how to use it. Not sure about it with this new version.

Yahoo email NEEDS to go back to the old version. Why did you change a format that worked well for decades?

Please, it was so good. I hate the new version. I want my pretty purple theme back--it was easy on my eyes.

WOW!! Just saw how many others feel the same about this disaster. I am giving it until the end of March and if the old option is not back I am out of here.

I can't believe it, the classic ui has just turned from nice into a total abysmal old fashioned mess.
Sorry to say, but your current 'modern' updated UI is terrible.
Users should have the option to keep the classic UI without the downgrade to some '90's version of it.
Turning the classic inbox into an unusable mess in order to force users to update to the even worse new version, is in my humble opinion, a nasty move. -
