Return to Classic Mail
Go back to the original Yahoo. This is terrible. Why do I have to click on the 3 dots on the bottom to get the Spam and Trash Folders. They should be on the top with the icons for inbox, etc.

This new yahoo email took all the simplicity of checking my email daily and made it incredibly complicated as such that I am no longer able to check my email. Very disappointed! I may have to go to Google if it does not go back to what it was before. I just don't get it!

Get rid of this new version, or let people go back to the old version. This is absolutely atrocious! Not only is the view hideous and hard to look at, but in the new look, it doesn't even show all my e-mails automatically (but if I switch to 'basic', they all magically appear). Not user-friendly.
E-mail should be about functionality, nothing more. Yahoo just removed a lot of the functionality of their e-mail.
I stuck to Yahoo so loyally for years because they were the only ones that seemed to understand this, but now it feels garbage like all the other services out there. And now extra scummy for trying to get people to pay to go ad-less at the top of the page. Such a bad taste in my mouth.

We've merged threads like this one to this main one from over the weekend.
A few things..
1. Unfortunately, if you don't see the "Go Back" button in the top right hand corner, you cannot go back to the old. We are focused on making this new version the best and we'd love your help!
2. Priority Inbox/Inbox Categories - we are very soon going to launch the ability to set the "All" category as the default. Stay tuned! In the meantime, you can always go back to having just one Inbox by disabling Inbox Categories under Settings > Personalize Inbox.
3. AI Summaries - we are currently looking into adding this to Settings so you can disable, just like you can in the apps. So, you're just going to double down on it? Please, just give us the option of the old view - surely the coding infrastructure isn't that incompatible... Either that or give us a lot more ability to customize and turn off things that we don't need or want. It's incredibly frustrating when such a huge change is forced just to be "new."

Literally, how do you make something that was functional, practical, intuitive, worked well and turn it into something so unbelievably awful ?!?!?!?!?!?
Who ever did this has lost their minds and has never used email apparently.
This is cumbersome, unhelpful, takes a thousand steps to do one thing, absolutely not functional, hard to read, terrible on the eyes, ugly., not intuitive, no longer makes sense. This is absolutely terrible and I want to puke even looking at it on the screen. No, really, the brightness and the fonts are making me feel motion sick. Its too much. -

I have tried using the new format and I can't even look at my screen because it's giving me a migraine with the new writing and format. I selected to go back to original and it's still not the classic format. I am in the middle of working and its making more work for me with extra steps moving things to folders and the block letters are hurting my head and eyes.

Ditch the new version. New version is slower, cluttered, no folders, ugh ugh ugh. IT WASNT BROKEN SO WHY DID YOU TRY TO FIX IT?

I almost got scammed because there's not a clear address on the emails. There is just the name of the sender not the address of the sender. There is no way to know if it's for example YAHOO OR YAH0O.

Hello - I would agree with the close to one thousand posts about returning to the classic version. This version isn't intuitive at all and somewhat confusing.

I was very annoyed when I discovered the new version of yahoo email. I don't know which one of your children designed the program, but it's childish. Judging by the comments, I'm not the only user who does not finds this version helpful. I vote for the old version.

To improve is to go back to the previous email. It looked more professional and not KIDDISH. It was also user friendly when forwarding a message. I was able to delete text that I do not want to forward. Also i was able to scroll thru any of my emails and not have to use a page button. I am sure there are other use that i will find that are not user friendly. The Basic would work better but in the settings, most of the features have been deleted. Please consider in reverting back to what works and looks better for the end user. Thank you
