To improve is to go back to the previous email. It looked more professional and not KIDDISH. It was also user friendly when forwarding a message. I was able to delete text that I do not want to forward. Also i was able to scroll thru any of my emails and not have to use a page button. I am sure there are other use that i will find that are not user friendly. The Basic would work better but in the settings, most of the features have been deleted. Please consider in reverting back to what works and looks better for the end user. Thank you

classic was so much easier to notice when an email is spam when it isnt filtered out automatically

Emails, when displayed as a list, have too much space between them. I can only see half as may emails on my monitor as I could in the past

I like the Classic Version better~this new one is more confusing and I don't like someone else reading my mail and making comments~I'll decide what my own email says~Thank You!!

We've merged threads like this one to this main one from over the weekend.
A few things..
1. Unfortunately, if you don't see the "Go Back" button in the top right hand corner, you cannot go back to the old. We are focused on making this new version the best and we'd love your help!
2. Priority Inbox/Inbox Categories - we are very soon going to launch the ability to set the "All" category as the default. Stay tuned! In the meantime, you can always go back to having just one Inbox by disabling Inbox Categories under Settings > Personalize Inbox.
3. AI Summaries - we are currently looking into adding this to Settings so you can disable, just like you can in the apps.

I hate this new email! go back to the old. When I clicked to reply to my. email it disappeared, its not even in trash.

This thing SUCKS. I have a long message to write. Twice while writing the message, I hit a combination of keys which resulted in the message being deleted. People who type very quickly have no way of knowing which keys created this because I had hot about 25 keys before I realized the message was gone.

Don't care for new version. I like when you can select "unread" and can scroll thru all emails.
