Return to Classic Mail

Go back to the original Yahoo. This is terrible. Why do I have to click on the 3 dots on the bottom to get the Spam and Trash Folders. They should be on the top with the icons for inbox, etc.

    Yes, please give me back the old version. I do not like this new one that I was forced to have, I did not choose this format. I was not given a choice. I don't care what your administrators are saying. I don't want to hear that "change is hard" blah, blah, blah. You shouldn't be condensing when us users are your paycheck. Go back to the original or give us a choice to go back.

    WHY DID YOU DO THIS. I absolutely HATE this new UI!
    - It has less information displayed in a much harder to see manner.
    - The colors are terrible and ******* the eyes, where's the contrast!
    - Dark mode looks like shyt
    - You converted a perfectly visible vertical list of page links into a stupid single column of giant buttons that don't even fit. Then when all the buttons didn't fit, you made a dropdown of another column of vertical giant buttons. WHY!?!?!?!?!
    - You got rid of so much that was right about the previous UI and FOR WHAT???? TO BE MORE LIKE GOOGLE????? I MIGHT AS WELL GO USE MY GMAIL ACCOUNT NOW. IT DOES THIS TERRIBLE DESIGN BETTER.

    I've had this email for over 15 years and it looks like it's time to start forwarding to a better service. I hate you so much for doing this.

    I want to go back to the original format that I had before I was forced into this new Version. It is awful. Plus why was I forced into this? And why did you remove the option to go back? The only option you have put is the oldest version you have had in the past. The version that everyone wants back is great, it is easy to manage and you know how many emails you have in your inbox. This new version is confusing, it keeps taking you to priority instead of all. There are emails that I cannot even find that I know were sent to me because of this new format. Hello! Yahoo! If you want to keep us as your users, give us what works. Not something you think works. Just do the right thing and fix this.

    Your new yahoo email is horrible!!! It was an unnecessary change that we did not ask for . I have been with Yahoo 20+ years probable not much longer as I now have used gmail and outlook and both are better than the new yahoo.

    The admins said earlier that this hangover is going"pretty well". HA! They obviously are not reading these comments. Why don't I have a way of seeing which emails I have answered when I look at the inbox? Why can't I do a search according to whether I sent the message or my correspondent sent it? Why does the gray out obscure the letters under it? Use a lighter color. And many more complaints. Also said "change is hard". BUT why should we change? We liked it as it was, there is no need to force us to change.

    The latest in the horrendous new version is: I cannot rename my folders. This is absolutely a nightmare, I want the classic version back that actually worked great, for years, why have you broken something that was working fine? I've had this account for 25+ years, I don't want to change, but if you guys don't get this figured out, I'm out.

    Go BACK to Classic!!! I can't automatically go to the next email when deleting emails - I have to check each tiny box next to each email and navigate to the delete icon. You can't search for all emails from a sender with the little magnifying glass between their name and email!
    It looks like Gmail and I don't like Gmail.

    Like all the other users that have posted on here, the new version SUCKS !! We have all given it a try and it still SUCKS !! You tried several years ago to change and people didn't like it, but at least we were able to go back to the Classic Mail. It is a disservice to the long time users not to give us an option to go back to what works for US !!

    Ugh, I'm trying to type an email, and I highlighted some text and hit delete, and it deleted my draft without even an Undo option. And then I sorted by Unread, and tried to scroll up and it kept kicking me back down to an add that looked like an email. unusable.

    This "new" version is unusable. Having to search for the SPAM folder and the Trash folder is ridiculous. I do not need, nor require, AI "help" in handling my emails. I certainly don't want AI creating Calendar events without my doing so. You have made this product terrible. I need the ability to change back or I will be getting rid of Yahoo.

    I can't tell how many unread emails I have, and when I went to respond to an email, the type on the original email was so faded in color that I couldn't read it to reference it in my response!

    As others have said, this new version is absolutely terrible. The inter face looks terrible and the functionality is even worse. I cannot find an option to delete multiple emails at once anymore, when I select multiple, there is no delete button, making it difficult to cleanup junk emails. I had to dig to find my spam folder so that I could make sure that I was not missing important emails that were accidentally marked as spam by the system. I could go on, but it seems like many others have the same feelings as me and have already voiced their opinions.

    Agree. The new layout is much more difficult to read. I really dislike the graying out of items once they've been read. Not a helpful change.
