I agree with all the commentors, but I haven't seen mention of how small the "email view window" is. I hate it. I prefer to see my emails on the left hand column and the email context in the right column. The old layout gave me so much room.

This makes the emails appear almost like mobile in some instances because email marketing platforms and creators aren't creating for such a small view window. FIX EVERYTHING or give an option to revert back.

Why do you change something that works? If its not broken, why fix it? Please bring back the old version.

It appears you have been flooded with complaints about the new format of YaHoo! Mail. As the old saying goes, if it isn't broke, don't fix it.

You are going to loose a lot of people....for what purpose? So one person in the company can prove a point. Bring back the option to "Go Back" and let the Users decide which version is best for them.

Not automatically sorting by "Today", "Yesterday", "Last Week", etc is the worst. Color Scheme isn't too appealing. I have been using Yahoo Mail since 1998. It's worked fine the way it has been for nearly the past 30 Years....why change it now? We need "Go Back" ASAP!

First off: What is wrong with you people on the design team? Try listening to your user base for once instead of brushing us off and removing all negative feedback, and stop "fixing" what isn't broken.

This new interface is trash. It's slow, sluggish, and just plain UGLY. It's broken. There's no way to adjust the sizes of any of the boxes, no way to customize it, and functionality is just all-around diminished. The panel on the right is way too big and keeps the inbox preview pane from being useful. And for what? Just to make the ads easier to see? Nobody wants that.

If we can't go back to the old layout, at least give us SOME kind of options to customize the colors of things. Dark mode isn't cutting it. This just looks harsh and depressing. I don't even care if I can't upload a background photo, just give us SOMETHING to make it a little more palatable!

Please add an option to increase the density of the number of emails that are shown in a page. Many people get a LOT of email and it's helpful to see as much as possible on a single page. Thanks for your consideration

The UI is ugly as ****, too rounded, and too bland. There's a vast emptiness where there doesn't need to be emptiness, especially since you moved the options for Unread, Archive, Spam, Trash, Settings, Help, Feedback, and Keyboard shortcuts in a place where fewer people will see it! Why? What possessed you to put an empty void there? I haven't seen any ads, so THAT can't be it. There was literally no reason to do this. There was also no reason to remove the ability to delete all trash or see how much is in my inbox, which, for some reason, reverts to "priority" every time I click back to it when I want to see ALL! Whoever decided this was a good idea, making the UI less pleasant to deal with and removing features, was sorely wrong.

The new one is so ugly. The "basic" version does not even let me scroll down the email list anymore. This worked yesterday for me. Something happen overnight that made this basic feature too difficult?

There was no real reason to waste anyone's time with this.

This has got to be the worst "upgrade" I have ever witnessed. Managing emails has never been more difficult - on any email serve I have ever used. Someone should probably lose their job over this decision as I am seriously deciding on changing my yahoo email over to another service.

Be transparent about WHY you made this decision, because right now, I see this as someone being bored at the office and decided to pick a fight with the user. Or someone is lying to their superior to look good, saying that this is what the people wanted.

I have not seen any 1 positive feedback about the new look, and you're telling me we're a "Community"? Then I wouldn't blame the community if they disbanded and left elsewhere.

Your site sucks! When I erase some emails, other non-checked emails also disappear and are NOT IN ANOTHER FOLDER IN THE TRASH OR SPAm folder.

I am actively trying to address medical and financial issues and this version is making my life ****! Give me the old version -- using this version is beyond stressful.

I honestly hope and pray Yahoo will listen to our complaints/suggestions. Mine are:
1. Forced Migration to the New Interface—Users were switched without consent, and the option to revert was removed. ** I want to switch back IMMEDIATELY. I did not agree to be a Beta Tester.
2. Cluttered and Non-Intuitive Design – The interface is difficult to navigate, making email management harder.
3. Difficulties with Folder Management – Organizing, renaming, and deleting folders is now cumbersome.
4. No Font Options in Yahoo Basic Mail – Users cannot change fonts in the body of an email.
5. Limited Customization Options—Few theme choices and the default gray background make emails harder to read.
6. No Clear Button for Switching—Switching between accounts is frustrating, overly complicated, and requires frequent logouts.

Please go back to the old version of Yahoo. This new version is very hard to read, no way to highlight text, very busy on the eyes. I have been a loyal yahoo users for years- please can we have the option to go back to the old version so much easier and nicer to use. Thank you
