My main objection to this new version of Yahoo mail is the Inbox spacing. I'd like at least twice as many emails shown per screen, and of course presently it is not tweakable. I saw your promise that it will be tweakable "soon", but honestly, users have been complaining about this issue for years with no action on your part. I haven't dug into all the added features; it looks to me like the only change is that going back to yahoo mail classic has been removed as an option, which, in my opinion, is going in the wrong direction for those of us who need a tight Inbox.

Please restore the compact view. Allow removal of the icon on the far left of each sender. PLEASE allow restoration of the previous very clean and compact no-nonsense layout which I loved. Why this new display? It's less efficient.

I want much, much tighter line and column spacing.

REMEMBER that yahoo mail was originally used on desktop system. No all users walk around with their phones stuck in their face. Sure, they live to be "blessed" by all the hacks to flood our inboxes. Your filtering is for email of a decade ago and does a bare minimum and it does nothing for hacks who cycle their email addresses and

It needs an option to squeeze out the excessive white space for the inbox lists. Please display more than 8 lines per page.

Many of us still only check their email only once or twice. This layout is gross for this application.

I still have my hotmail account active, please don't send me back to Microsoft land but this new layout is only marginally useful for dealing the amount of messages than many users.

The size of the titles and preview bits of emails is in much smaller print than in the prior version, but the spacing of lines is farther apart, possibly due to that strange circle in front of each line. The impact result is less emails displayed per screen (only 13 vs previous 24) but with smaller script making it harder to read and more scrolling to work through folders. And hovering over the subject shows the entire subject, but at about half the font size it used to be, making it almost impossible to read easily.

I filed many feedback notices every time I encountered annoying and disruptive issues with the “new version” of Yahoo Email during the time the feedback window was there; then it disappeared. Now I am not sure this list of issues that are frustrating and time wasting is getting to the right team. Apparently, the feedback was ignored and never responded to. And no changes have been made to the new version. Yahoo should make the prior version available to anyone who desires it. That action would probably be enthusiastically received by a vast majority of long-term clients. Above is one of the problems and significantly disruptive changes that have extended my time managing a large amount of incoming email by almost double.

There is too much wasted screen space. The windows for email and content views have gotten smaller and there is a big section to the right not being used. This should be adjustable or even better, able to be removed. Every time you create a new interfae it gets worse than the previous one. Why???

The new layout has too much unused space, difficult to use on smaller screens. A compact version with less white space is reccommended.

In addition the functionality "Create a filter for this message@ is missing, it was very useful, reccomed to add to the new version.

there needs to be an option for narrower email headers or something. The emails are spaced too far apart and are taking up twice as much space because the new interface is trying to be fluffy. It makes it harder to do the split screen view because I can only see half of my regular list of emails on top nor as much information as I used to have in the email at the bottom. Essentially this new format sucks. You could add some sort of option to make changes

Previous classic email allowed 30 or more emails to be viewed without scrolling down. Please re-enable this feature

If that option is already there kindly suggest as to how to do it.

Unhappy with 'new' features as it seems most positive, helpful tools have disappeared, such as mentioned in title of my comment. Why? Seriously contemplating a switch to a different email service which mean this 20+ year Yahoo user will also disappear.

Please make compact view available ASAP. The new spacing is UNUSABLE!

The rows in the grid are to high. Between the unneeded circular icon with logo of sender and extra white space between rows, only 12 or 13 messages can be seen at a time causing excessive scrolling.
The right hand window pane containing stared messages always opens by default - I am constantly closing it everytime I log in.
Not enough room on left folder pane to see complete folder names. Many of my folders begin with the same prefix or word and I now need to hover my mouse over each folder to see the complete name until I find the one I want - when many folders start with the same prefix, this is extremely time consuming.
I have multiple yahoo accounts and the account names use to show nicely on the top left in the older interface, I could see at a glance if there were messages to review in those accounts. Now those accounts have moved to the bottom left and I cant see if there are message alerts without physically moving my mouse down and putting it on the name of the account.

The new Yahoo email does not accommodate single spacing. SINGLE SPACING. How basic and essential this is!! My emails look WRONG AND UNPROFESSIONAL with the 1.5 spacing. FIX THIS PLEASE ASAP or I will have to say goodbye to Yahoo Mail.

its taking up far too much space for like 10 emails now! We aren't all kids or lacking in reading ability, this is terrible

Instead of the old condensed listing format now there's only ~20 emails listed with the new distracting basic email UI on a 4K PC screen. Seriously ? How about even bigger contact circles with colors and listing only 10 emails ?
Now need to endlessly scroll even more to see the last 30 to 40 emails, waste of time and of productivity.

Let people manage the spacing between messages in the Inbox and folder views AS WAS AVAILABLE before.

Yahoo Mail has an older user base. Forcing change that makes the system arguably MORE difficult to use is a great way to lose them. I also have a hard time believing that whoever decided what to add and remove in this mail update actually USES it as their primary email.

There is far to much space between all the lines, as a result, on my laptop screen, I can barely see anything useful without constant scrolling. This was not necessary with the prior version I was using. The current update has zero benefits and makes it significantly harder to actually read through the mails - text is not only smaller, there is simultaneously less of it on the screen.
