Colors
Please restore my old format of the Yahoo Mail. Please restore the colors, design and everything as it was. I can't distinguish between new mails and ads, there's no structure, everyuthing seems just a bunch of mixed trash in an Inbox. UGLY UGLY UGLY and worst of all, confusing and non funcional. Please restore my Yahoo Mail, especially the INbox with its format and design

Bring back colored themes. This Black or White background is just "Sorry". It has not character at all. The message display screen has never been a full screen. You can never see the full email. It would be nice to actually see the entire message without having to scroll from side to side. That far right panel can be put to better use by allowing full message screens.

This low contrast washed out gray background/theme is unwarranted for coming out with a supposedly new improved interface to address user wants. How many users said "Please take away all theme choice and give us a low contrast light gray/tan and white". This is a typical oversight of rushing out a new interface, presumably to stuff it with AI to justify data mining.

The only two background colors available are black and white. They both provide a difficult view of emails because the contrast is too strong. Please go back to offering additional background colors.

Appearance Mode: DARK is too dark and LIGHT is too bright. The modes represent extremes and are not useful or restful backgrounds for legibility and extended reading. Hard for older users. Can you supply one or more in-between background modes.

Please restore soft background colors and seasonal themes in desktop Yahoo Mail. Stark white is uncomfortable, and black dark mode is too harsh. Users need options between those two extremes, as we had before the upgrade

I find the all dark a bit hard to read and the light too bright. An in between theme with both dark and light would be much better.

The dark view is too dark and light is too light. It would be great to have a background color option that was in between so it was more comfortable to look at.

Thank you for your reply. I understand that I cannot go back to the old version because the “Go back” button is no longer available.
However, my main concern is the sudden change in the appearance of Yahoo Mail. My mailbox used to have a purple and blue colour scheme, but it has now changed to a plain white interface on both my laptop and iPhone. I cannot find any Themes or colour customisation settings.
Is there any way to restore the purple and blue colour scheme in the current version of Yahoo Mail? I am not asking to revert to the old version; I simply want to customise the colours of my mailbox.
Thank you for your help.

This layout is DESPERATELY missing some color - not just for cosmetic purposes, but as a functional way to separate the different areas of the layout. Everything is against a white background, so there is no distinction and the eye cannot focus on the writing area of the email. Add some color to the tools/icons along the left side, as well as the send/forward/ options along the top vertical edge. This gives the user a much easier way to quickly discern where the page borders are. It's too bland and sterile.

Ability to customize colour themes beyond just dark and light mode. With or without custom wallpapers as well. Makes inbox more personalized and helps to visually distinguish mailboxes from each other.

I want to keep my current Green Inbox theme, so I'd like to opt out of the new Yahoo Mail.

I switched to the New Yahoo Mail today. Thank you for improving the service. There's one thing that is bothering me: I didn't find any option to change the Appearance. In the older version, one could use different themes as it is natural to get bored with the same look after some time.
Please can you attend to this! Thx.

The current New Yahoo Mail is almost unreadable for me and many others - the fonts are squat and chunky and my eyes skip around, unlike the previous version.
Give us the option for themes other than light and dark, or preview pane layout.
Let us choose from a small range what our main view fonts are, none of this "everything is bold or stubby" unreadable stuff!
I'll have to switch to hotmail or something because I can't even clear my inbox now. -

I HATE the new look, can't read white on grey/black or black on white with my eye sight . I had a lovely blue range before.
Not as clear to navigate. I also hate the circles with initials - gaudy and don't fit who they apply to. It's up to me to find an appropriate one but don't need them anyway!!!
How dare you impose things like this without offering choices.
And by the way if people are dyslexic they definitely can't read white on black easily. Needs to be softer.
Where is the security page? I do not want you to have access to the things you mention

Please allow us to have some of the softer themes that the original Yahoo! Mail had. Pure white is too harsh and pure black is too dark.
